We want to get LO a slide for her first birthday, but don't want to spend a ton. I looked at a few on Amazon but wasn't sure which one would be best.
I was looking at this one (also at Target), but I'm open to suggestions

That's a fun gift! I was actually going to suggest that one. My niece and nephew have that one and love it

I can't help with a rec but I had a slide around the same age and we have many, many photos of me on it - she is going to LOVE it!

I would actually recommend the jr slide from little tikes over the one you have. The slope in the slide really helps. If the slide is too straight, kids can only slide a few inches before their feet hit the bottom. Hope that makes sense.

Fun! I was thinking big slide recommendations. We bought one for Ellie's tree house last year and it is awesome. But the little tikes one is really nice for a small slide. Lorelei uses our big one, but it's super fast, so she can't slide from the very top without major intervention.

It is quite a bit more than the one you posted though. Part of why I like it though is that 4 and 5 year olds still use ours all of the time whereas the little ones get discarded pretty quickly. It is probably too fast for them to use it independently until 18 months for the daredevils and closer to 2 for the cautious kids.

@Bao: We have used this one for 2 years. Highly recommend it!
