@mrbee: oh my gosh, my oldest does this same exact thing! It always has to have ice. It's almost never "fresh" enough for her.

@mrbee: hahaha! Sounds about right I call my LO a water snob, if it's more than 30 minutes old she won't drink it.

My DDs both like to have a camelbak of water in their beds. They aren't picky about the temperature/newness of the water, but like the bottle yo be pretty full. I'm trying to break the habit, particularly for DD1 - I need to reduce her late night water intake to help her learn to be dry at night.

Thankfully she does not whine for ice but we do put a water bottle by her bed every night. Why do kids magically get thirsty before bed every night?

my son is the opposite - if there's ice in his water, he freaks out. however, it still has to be cold. #cantwin
