@Mrs. Rabbit: Thank you, how long is your deployment? I think they all stink equally!! I have know motivation to do anything except pour more wine and HB!
@Katrocap: I don't actually know, it keeps changing back and forth. Neither place is desirable though.

@StbHisMrs: This one is only 4.5 months (we had 48-hour notice about it—booo!), and our last one (when I was pregnant with bunny) was 7 months. Is this your first? This is our sixth and I wish I could say you get used to it, but they're all tough. One thing does remain the same, though: You'll get through it! People always ask or say "I don't know how you do it," and my response is that I don't know either...you just do, because you have to! Hope today is easier for you than yesterday

I'm glad to know you're here going through the same thing, well not glad you're going through it but that we have company
We had way too long to prepare for this, we knew about it last year. Lots of time for my mind to conjure up all kinds of scenarios. My Husband is prior USMC and is now in The National Guard, he's in it for retirement, ten years down, ten to go, I'm certain we'll go through many many more of these. Hopefully not 14 months again...
