Since she's skipping her morning nap I decided to give LO a snack (rice puffs and craisins). Now they're everywhere! lol! Any rec's on a snack cup to minimize messes?

Haha aww! I know they have all kinds of different "no spill" snack cups these days, but I haven't tried any out yet.

LOL - she can just eat them off the floor, right?
I picked up a snack cup from the grocery store. I went with cheapest one and the lid keeps coming right off so we have the same issue as you.

Hahaha. So cute. We were gifted these but I haven't used them yet so I'm not sure how they work? http://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Snack-Catchers-Colors-Vary/dp/B000GB0NZK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362068749&sr=8-1&keywords=snack+cups

@BabyBoecksMom: Well, she eats everything else she finds on the floor, at least this is actual food!!! lol!!
@mediagirl: my MIL has a few like that, I think we might venture out this afternoon to see what we can find.

Oops! Silly girl.
I couldn't leave my LO with a bowl full of food. He loves flipping bowls upside down...especially when they're full!
We have munchkin bowls that are similar to the cups @mediagirl posted but even I find it difficult to get food out of that lid! I'm on the lookout for a different snack cup too.

@autumnlove: funny you should ask! lol! They were gated downstairs so that I don't have to wrestle them away from her while she eats. Now that sh'es up having lunch in her high chair, the clean up crew is on.... well the lazy one doesn't care, but at least one dog is helping mama out!

@prettylizy: hehe so cute! those snack cups look pretty cool -- will have to try one out for LO, too! i had a question about the craisins/raisins -- i haven't given anything like that to LO yet (9 months, 4 front teeth) b/c i thought they wouldn't be able to chew them -- am i totally wrong? do the LO's just kind of mush them until they dissolve?
sounds yummy!

@tysonja: she just sort of chews them with her gums and mashes them around. Full disclosure, they are still pretty solid on the other end, but never more than she can handle. If you were really worried, you could cut them up smaller.
@autumnlove: seriously, she gave me a look like "rice puffs. Call me when you drop something more delicious." then went to bed. Maybe she's the new grumpy cat?

We have the ones that @mediagirl listed and the work great-very easy for LO to get in and out of but keep the snack securely in (well until LO realizes that if they put their hand in and shake the snack comes out much faster)
