I just went through IVF and was told to take it just prior to my embryo transfer - like an hour before, so it can't be too bad while TTC. They did tell me not to take it after transfer though. Probably fine during the first half of your cycle, but maybe skip it during the TWW.

I think it's fine until you're actually pregnant.

I never took it during my TWW. I definitely wouldn't take it for pre menstrual cramps while TTC until you have actually confirmed that AF has arrived since the cramping could be implantation.

Ugh, I'd never survive AF if I didn't take ibuprofen. I think I read something about it making O late, so I make sure I only take it during AF.

I've read that ibuprofen and other NSAIDS during TTC can cause LUFS, which makes it looks like you've ovulated (with a temp rise) but actually you don't ovulate!

I have read, but cannot currently find, a study showing that ibuprofen interacts with prostaglandins and may therefore interfere with conception. I take it a lot, and had trouble conceiving, but that is a very tenuous link. I've been NTNP since my baby's birth 13 months ago, and no pregnancy. I may try knocking it off for a month or two and seeing if I have any better luck conceiving.
