@bhbee: I doubt it, I am hoping to get a road on where next, I am getting another RPL panel done that day too, so I don't think we will be doing anything to major this cycle! I am ok with that, but I am def ready to try again.... :)))

Hey everyone! I need to catch up with all the news from the weekend (I saw a bunch of BFP , so happy to see those here !!!)but I had a quick update. I had a baseline U/S this morning and I am clear for our first round of IUI. I start 50mg of comid tonight for the next 5 days and then 3/19 have an ultrasound to see if I should trigger. I'm nervous and excited!

@MrsTal: Good luck with your IUI!
@FaithFertility: I hope you are able to get some answers with the RPL panel this time. Was it all clear last time? Are they checking anything new?
@mrs bunchy: Congrats again! I am another one who loves to see BFP's for ladies on this thread, it gives me so much hope Good luck with the betas
@babycanuck: Good luck with your HSG today!
@bhbee: Glad to hear that you got the all clear to start your new cycle.

Totally posted this on my other thread:
All done - not nearly as bad as I expected, I think I psyched myself out. I didn't sleep at all.
From the looks of what was on the screen, my uterus is bicornuate (partial). I don't know if that's a factor of not getting KU. My tubes are clear and the gyno is away until the 18th, then I'll get an appt for results of HSG, ultrasound and blood work.
They told me no sex tonight due to higher changes of infection, which totally sucks lol so i'll have to wait it out one more day.

@mrswin: Thank you! The first was just thyroid and stuff of that nature, this time it is genetics and autoimmune things, I'm hoping we get answers soon!!!!!

@FaithFertility: Non medicated cycle that wasn't long is good! Especially when things line up nicely with your vacation!
@lazypanda: boo to AF on your trip, but I hope you have good results from the Clomid.
@thisisme: so excited for your beta!!!
@mrs bunchy: so many congrats!!!
@bhbee: I'm glad to hear the cyst won't be an issue. And St. Patty's wanding, oh joy!
@MrsTal: wishing you lots of luck with your IUI!
@babycanuck: glad to hear your HSG wasn't too bad. It's sucky you have to wait for the results, but hopefully it is just one step closer to a BFP!

@FaithFertility: it was fine. I went in very tired, so I was feeling kind of sorry for myself. It was a quick appt. Surgery on the 21st, follow up to discuss April 4th! Thanks for asking.
@just_ju: good luck tomorrow!
@babycanuck: glad it went well.

@just_ju: Good luck tomorrow!
@MrsTal: Yay for getting started! Hope this means there are more to follow!
@Sprite: Thanks! You too! Hopefully I'll join you on the other board soon... I'm SOOO scared to jinx things until I hear more beta #s.
@babycanuck: Why does it always seem that doctors are on vacation when you're most anxious to see them?! Glad to hear your HSG was easier than expected. Is this the first time you're hearing that info about your uterus? I can imagine that's hard to digest, especially not having full answers. I hope things keep moving along for you!

@just_ju: good luck on your IUI tomorrow!
@MrsTal: Good luck with the clomid! Have you been able to ovulate on clomid before?
@FaithFertility: Clomid is FDA approved for treatment of infertility. Femara is FDA approved for the treatment of breast cancer with the unintended side effect of treating infertility. My RE said that the drug companies make enough money off of femara for cancer that they don't necessarily want to spend billions of dollars researching the efficacy of femara as an infertility medication. Clomid's side effects are supposed to be worse than femara which is why I opted for femara when given the choice. I'm definitely not looking forward to it. I'm already feeling irritable and achy, and that's just from taking the provera!

@Shutterbug: how are things going for you? Is this cycle feeling different than your last?
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@Happygal: it's going good! I've done 4 days of stims and I had my first monitoring appointment this morning. Lots of little follicles, nothing measurable yet, so I'm sure I'll be going back in a couple days (last cycle I had 5 monitoring appts). I added Menopur this cycle and that stuff is no joke! It burns so badly going in... ugh. Thanks for checking in How are you? Ready for your lap next week?
pomelo / 5000 posts
@Shutterbug: As ready as I'll ever be! The uncertainty of what they'll find makes me anxious. And I have petty concerns that I'll act like a fool or cry once I wake up from surgery. I was want it to be over.
Is there any way to reduce the stinging, or is it just the nature of the Menopur beast?

Just updating since I'm left off the list for some reason...
All results have been normal thus far. I'm going in either Friday or Monday for post-O progesterone blood work. I have to call to find out when. My doctor recommended 5DPO and Friday will be 4DPO and Monday will be 7DPO. So, not sure when to go!

@FaithFertility: Good luck today!! I kinda laugh when I see "WTF appt" But, that's exactly what it is!
