I'm still in the "just hanging out" category. AF hasn't shown, definitely not pg, but I'm noticing changes in my body (like the constipation has finally gone away. Praise Jesus).
Life is good. Birthdays are all out of the way, the weather might warm up sometime in the next year, and we're getting ready for a vacation. My parents are paying us for watching my brothers while they went on vacation by taking us on Spring Break. I'm so excited. We're still missing some of our dogs, but we're happy we even got one back.

@Mrs. Polish: ooo, spring break vacation, where will you be going? I'm sorry that some of your dogs are still missing, that's so hard.
As for me 12 dpo and a BFN this morning, not going to lie had a good cry. I thought the clomid was going to work especially when the doc thought I ovulated from both sides. Looks like it's on to IUI next month. I really can't wait until our vacation, I need a break from everything.

@Mrs. Polish: Vacation sounds great! Have fun I'm sorry that your are still missing some of the dogs, I hope you are able to find them.
@MrsTal: Sorry about the BFN, sometimes I wish the doctors didn't tell me stuff like that because it gets my hopes up. Are you planning to do Clomid with your IUI?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsTal: I'm sorry. Big hugs.
Update:
I'm officially CD4 of cycle 8. Just got our diagnosis from RE, borderline DOR. They don't seem "concerned" but they will go with higher doeses of medications than what they were originally planning on. Not going to lie, I totally cried like a baby when the nurse told me I was "borderline DOR." She acted like it was not a big deal and said it was good we were being proactive.
I want to say how great it is having you girls to talk to, it really helps me stay positive. I talk to DH but he doesn't really "get it." He's a problem solver, he's like "ok, how do I fix it or here buy something, stop crying." I feel SO much better after talking to some bees that have the same diagnosis as I do and they are so positive it makes me feel better. So, I just wanted to say thank you!!! And I look forward to celebrating when we all get our BFP, sticky babies, or become adoptive parents.

I'm doing alright, had a couple of big deadlines earlier in the week but now that they are done I am a little more relaxed. Also we had a cleaning person come for the first time this week and it was heaven to come home to a clean house after work!
Nothing new for me, natural cycle while we wait for our WTF meeting on 03/18, likely moving onto IVF in June/July once we get back from our big trip in May.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@littlek: Hahaha my SO is the same, he immediately tries to solve it and if I am crying he frantically tries to find something to make it better, which usually involves going out and buying me ice cream!
It's good that your doctor has a plan, although I am surprised that they thought you were boarder line based on your AFC. Did the nurse say how many antral follicles they wanted for "normal" for your age?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@mrswin: She mentioned my FSH being borderline at 9 and my estradoil being somewhat high. Honestly, I was concerned originally when I got the FSH of 9 but my OB blew it off, saying under 10 was fine. My husband thinks shoes make me happy, so he's like go buy shoes.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsTal: Where are you going on vacation?
@mrswin: What's your big trip?
We are going to Disney at end of May. I'm sooo excited.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@littlek: Hahaha I am scared to imagine what shoes my SO would buy if he thought that would make me feel better! LOL I love the man but our taste in shoes is very different
My SO and I are both celebrating milestone birthdays this year and we are going to France and Spain for 10 days in May! Looking forward to some time away, good food and wine.
Are you going to Disney World or Land?
clementine / 901 posts
@mrswin: I think we will be doing clomid. I'm not positive tho, I need to call the new place and see how this whole thing is going to work. Where is your big trip to?
@littlek: hugs!!! My DH is like that, he just wants to make everything better for me and when he can't he gets frustrated.
We are going on a cruise to Belize and Cozumel in April and I can't wait! Are you going to Disney land or world? And where are you staying? We are disney fanatics lol.

Cd22 for me today. Called the dr to get my progesterone results and nurse said they were in, but she couldn't tell me them until the dr reviewed them and gave me the next steps. In my head I think she already is telling me it's low and I have to go see an re. Gur!! I want to know before I go into work today so I can cry if I want to!!
DH has been so kind this month! He has been working loonnngggg hours 68 miles from home and on his day off yesterday grocery shopped and made dinner was so grateful for that!
Will update when I get anxious and call the drs office last today with those #s, wish me luck

Hello!
I'm doing pretty good. I've got something going on every weekend in March and that is making waiting easier.
This week we made the decision to go through with the FET in May so I called my IVF nurse and got us on the list. I have to go back on BCP when I start my next cycle. I'm not sure when that will be though. My last periods were on 12/28 and 2/14. It has to be by 4/16 or else I will get bumped back a month. I'm sure AF will show before then.
I'm not really looking forward to cycling again. The estrogen patches give me a rash and are just uncomfortable. Keeping up with medications and appointments is draining. I'm trying to stay optimistic though. This will be the last time I do this.

@Mrs. Polish: @MrsTal: @mrswin: where are y'all going on vacation?
@littlek: I know getting the diagnosis hurts. But at least you know what you are up against and can make a plan. (hugs)
nectarine / 2433 posts
@mrs bunchy: Good luck! Don't read too much into the nurse's response, they do the same at our office. Since they are legally not allowed to tell you they just give vague responses like that!

@mrswin: thx!! There is one nurse there that always tells me before he reads it I'm guessing she's off today! Boo!

@Mrs. Polish: Paid spring break sounds like a blast! I'm sorry to hear not all of your dogs are back yet though.
@MrsTal: sorry to hear this. I wish you lots of luck with your IUI, and hope your vacation is just what you need!
@littlek: still sending you lots of love about your test results. It will be ok!
@mrswin: oh my goodness, having a cleaning person is a dream of mine! I can only imagine how nice it was to come home to a clean house. Good luck at your WTF appointment later this month.
@mrs bunchy: hope you get your results soon! It is so annoying when nurses won't just give you the results, dang it!
@Leialou: sending you lots of strong and positive thoughts for your May FET. Cycling can't be easy, but at least you know what sucky side effects to expect. You got this!
Update: I'm 11 days past IUI, and guardedly optimistic.
pomelo / 5000 posts
@mrs. polish: cheers to warmer temps! I'm glad you got one pup back, but still feel sick that others are out there. I'm a big dog lover. Stealing someone's dog = seriously awful karma. Where is your spring break going to be?
@mrstal: Sorry friend--those BFNs are ugly. I'm so sorry. Does your dog make you feel any better? I only ask b/c your dog's picture is really cute. A cruise to Belize and Cozumel sounds so lovely. Will you scuba or snorkel? There are supposed to be great sites for that in those areas!
@littlek: glad you feel supported here! It's positive that your office sees your borderline diagnosis as being very manageable. I hope cycle 8 is it for you.
@mrswin: have you shared what you do for work before? It seems to keep you very busy! I would love to have a cleaning person--even if it was just once a month. Where will you go in France and Spain? That sounds like an awesome trip.
@mrs bunchy: hi! I was wondering how you're doing. I'm anxious to hear your results as well! I'll be watching for an update. That's sweet about your husband--was it a good dinner?
@leialou: How can we help you stay optimistic through your next cycle? I want to be a good support for you. Do you have fun things planned in March?
@Sprite: I'm guardedly optimistic for you, too!
AFM--I'm just hanging out along with mrs. Polish. I do go to the doctor on Monday for a pre-surgery consult. I think I'll mainly be signing papers that promise not to sue their pants off if things go south. We can't really plan for what to do intervention wise until after they look at my insides and see what's going on, so we're sitting tight, which part frustrating, part boring.
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@MrsTal: we're heading to a family resort in FL. I'm excited for Isaiah's first vacation, but also nervous about traveling.
@mrswin: thank you. We're obviously still hoping to find them all, but feel extremely blessed to have gotten one back.
@littlek: I am glad you know what you're working with now. I remember having those breakdowns and it is so hard to find out what is wrong. I'm thankful that you're able to work with what you've got though.
@Leialou: @Happygal: we're going to FL. I'm looking forward to the beach after this winter.
kiwi / 533 posts
@Happygal: delicious dinner burger dip and homemade cookies!
Update: coaxed the nurse into telling me before dr read it. Progesterone is 22.something. I honestly stopped listening after 22. They will call me with official instructions and read when he looks at it !! Phew, thank god it's over 15!! Still not very hopeful, but oh well
pomelo / 5000 posts
@mrs bunchy: those both sound really comforting and tasty. Tell me more about this hamburger dip. Good news on those numbers!!!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@mrs bunchy: that's good!!!
@MrsTal: wow! that sounds like an awesome trip! We are going to Disney World and staying at the Polynesian.
@mrswin: I'm soooo jealous! I want to go to France so much.
clementine / 901 posts
@mrs bunchy: Awesome news with your levels! It was so nice of your DH to do all that.
@Leialou: FX for your FET cycle! I really really hope that cycle is it for you. We are headed on a cruise to Belize and Cozumel.
@Sprite: Have you tested yet? Or when will you test?
@Happygal: My dogs always make me feel better. I don't know what we are going to do yet, we have been thinking about doing cave tubing in Belize and touring the ruins in Cozumel, but we aren't set yet as we would really like to relax. Remind me when your lap is again?
@Mrs. Polish: That will be fun and I'm sure Isaiah will have an awesome time!
@littlek: I love the Polynesian! Staying near Magic Kingdom is so awesome, we usually do Port Orleans French Quarter.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@MrsTal: @Leialou: We are going to France and Spain for 10 days in May! @Happygal: We are going to stay in Paris and do some day trips to wineries, etc and then we are going to be in Barcelona for the Spain portion of the trip
@mrs bunchy: Hahaha you must be very persuasive or sounded really desperate to know . Glad the number is over 15
@Sprite: FX for you!
@Sprite: @Happygal: Honestly I was willing to do whatever it took to get a cleaning person worked into our budget. I pack my lunch everyday, no more getting manicures because I got a LED kit to do them at home now, etc. She is going to come every 3 weeks and it is only $60 for our 650 sf. condo. My SO and I both work close to 60 hours a week so it seems like a fair trade off
nectarine / 2433 posts
@Happygal: I am a consultant and work on a similar platform as lawyers (i.e. case files and then billable hours requirements), it involves occasional travel but I love it. I am also in the process of getting additional credentials so that takes up some of my time as well!
@Mrs. Polish: I will keep thinking good thoughts for you and your pups. I have to tell you I loved your post about I's birthday, that's how they were always done when I was growing up and I loved it
@littlek: I would offer to take you in my suitcase but then I would have to pay for an additional bag! I have always wanted to go so I am really looking forward to it.
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@mrswin: I'm so jealous that you had a cleaning person come. I want that. And thanks about the birthday post. I feel overwhelmed when I see Pinterest style parties. And if Zay ever expects one of those, he'll have to do that himself.
pomelo / 5000 posts
@MrsTal: I found out too late in the game that there are tour groups NOT associated with the cruise line that will take you on tours. They are a little different than what the ship typically offers and sometimes cheaper. Which cruise line will you be on?
My lap is March 21. Seems far away, but it's really not!
@mrswin: I was trying to find the funny clip from The Internship where Vince V. keeps correcting his girlfriend on the proper pronunciation of Bar-tha-lona, but no dice. Anyway, I love that city and the wine and all the food. So jealous. Squeeze me into your suitcase with LittleK, ok? We'll cover the luggage fee.
Getting a house cleaner was the smartest thing we did when I lived with three other girls. I just can't convince my husband that it's the best idea ever. I've had the sneaky thought of having one come when he is gone so he'd fall in love the clean house--then I would have him hooked!

Test results are slowing coming in... CD3 blood work was normal (ovarian reserves, etc.), HSG and ultrasound were normal. Waiting on DH's SA results and my post-O blood work (waiting to O now).
We just booked a trip to St. Martin over Easter weekend. We haven't been somewhere warm since our honeymoon so I'm excited for some sun and relaxation!

I'm CD31 and my OPKs are still the same color since CD22. I am anxiously waiting for my WTF call from my RE. I will update and comment when I get home tonight.

I had my ultrasounds today and Monday morning I have my HSG. I was able to move it from April! Will call the gyno on Monday when I get home to let them know it's all done and when can I come in for my results with Hubs.

going to update first and then comment -
I'm pretty sure today is 17dpo (normal for me, long LP sucks) and I expected AF but looks like she is dragging it out until tomorrow (definitely not pregnant).
I am feeling pumped for this next cycle though. I had no spotting until yesterday which is AMAZING for me. I really think the clomid at 100 fixes something in my hormones (I would still spot early on 50mg). So now I just need to get some more shots at it and maybe things will stick if it happens.
My big fear is getting the cycle cancelled at my CD3 or CD11 so please cross your fingers for me! an IUI the week of St Patty's must be good luck, right? I'm faux Irish with my husband's last name
I got a little random bonus at work and decided to highlight my hair today which is a nice mood boost. And March is going to go fast with fun stuff because I'm going to my mom's next week and then we're likely house-hunting in TX right before my next expected test date. ready to get this show on the road!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@babycanuck: that's awesome about moving it up!
@LindsayInNY: good news! I am so jealous of your trip!
@Mrs. Polish: I second loving your bday post! most of the people who post about parties went all out and I love seeing this style which we love as well.
@mrswin: I am hoping we might be able to swing a cleaning person in TX. we could never afford it here in Boston. things would be so much cleaner! I figure if I ever can manage to get a true BFP this year that will be a good excuse to start!
@Happygal: sorry for the waiting but thanks for being awesome on here!
@Sprite: fingers tightly crossed for your test
@littlek: I'm sorry about the diagnosis, but I'm glad you have something to focus on working on! I can't really talk to my DH about TTC/IF except to tell him what he needs to do when. were it not for the bee I would have only myself to talk to about it (which I totally do in a journal too)
@MrsTal: so sorry about the BFN. even with clomid working it can easily take 3 cycles so next one could be it, especially with IUI as extra help. I was feeling the same about this cycle - I thought the 100mg would just work for me and total BFN. it's hard so much is just luck on top of everything else.

Ok, I feel like I need to block out an hour each Thursday morning to chat with you guys.
@Mrs. Polish: I've been wondering about your pups. Sorry to hear they're not all back!
@MrsTal: I'm so sorry! I was hopeful for you , too, after you talked about ovulating from both sides.
@littlek: That's funny about the shoes! You better take advantage of it and go get some nice ones!
@mrswin: I hope you're able to enjoy relaxing this cycle! And France and Spain sound AH-MAZING!
@mrs bunchy: I hate getting messages from nurses that can't tell you anything! I agree, it's hard not to read negatively into that. Glad your news isn't all bad. Sounds like your DH deserves a gold star this week!
@Leialou: That's great that you're moving forward again. Hang in there!
@Sprite: Fingers crossed!!! Any symptoms yet? When will you POAS?
@Happygal: I can't remember, is your surgery a laproscopy? When will that be? (Nevermind... finished reading the thread!) 3/21 does seem far away, but it'll be here before you know it.
@LindsayInNY: That all sounds great! Are you doing any meds this cycle?
@lazypanda: Thinking of you! Good luck!
@babycanuck: That's great! The HSG was no big deal for me. Hope it's easy for you, too!
@bhbee: Late AF + BFN definitely sucks! Pampering yourself always helps, though! We'll definitely have FX for you. I love house hunting! Are you feeling more excited or overwhelmed about moving?
I'm just waiting for my beta tomorrow morning!
pomelo / 5000 posts
@thisisme: I know! It moves fast in the beginning. But I really like chatting with you guys and appreciate you and everyone else taking the time to respond as well. It makes my day! Can't wait to hear your great beta number tomorrow.
@bhbee: whoo hoo girl, you're already on a streak of good luck! I'm glad to hear your spirits are up--it feels contagious. I'm smiling right now.
@lazypanda: hope it's a good talk. Let us know how it goes!
I'll update a list tomorrow. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, remember to add a little ** by anything you want included. I scan through and try to catch it all, but I don't want anyone to feel left out.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@thisisme: I'm mostly excited about moving! We are getting nice relo from the company which helps. I've never had movers pack but it seems awesome. And we've decided not to feel pressure to buy ... If we see something we love we'll buy, if not there are nice rentals too and we can buy later. At the very least tons of distractions!
And I cannot wait to hear about your beta

@Mrs.Polish: "hanging out as well" not too fun, but I am glad to hear you have a Vaca to look forward too...where are you going?
@Mrstal: So sorry, but until AF shows you are still in it to win it. I think a vacation is such a great way to escape it all and just breath!
@LittleK: I am sorry, all this can be hard, DH try to help, but I am glad you find comfort here, so do I!
@Mrswin: Best of luck to you are your WTF I am really anxious about mine.....you???
@Mrs.Bunchy: DH can be sooo sweet, that def helps! I think 22 is a really good #
@Sprite: I am praying this is your BFP :)))))
@Lindsayinny: I am happy to her all test are coming back good
Your trip to St. Marten sounds wonderful, I am glad you are enjoying the down time an booking vacation and such I think it is important,!
@BhBee: I am glad you are looking forward, I think an IUI close to St.Pattys day sounds like a lucky one! Prayers!
@Thisisme: Praying for high numbers tomorrow!!!!

AFM: I am sitting and waiting for AF BFNs sooo I know it is just my body...being well.....my body ....
