@macintosh: I hope that the procedure goes well and that they are able to retrieve sperm.

@macintosh: my previous message cut off my well wished for your DH's procedures. FX that you'll have good news next week!
@FliegepilzHut: yay for lucky socks!
@FaithFertility: I'm allowed to take an HPT on 6/16! Hopefully I'll have good news today as I should be getting my progesterone results. DH was very accommodating when I told him that I was craving Korean Cold Noodle soup yesterday. I never loved having that and definitely don't finish it since it's a large bowl, but man, I finished that bowl of noodles & soup before DH was done with his soft tofu soup! For those who don't know, Korean cold noodle soups are made of buckwheat noodles in a beef broth & have a tangy, vinaigrette taste to it due to the pickled radish & cucumbers. It's quite tasty. Because I finished it so quickly, and with the craving for pickles, it made me start symptom spotting again and piqued my interest to POAS, but I stayed strong and didn't.
@mrswin: is it possible for you to be in the two week wait soon? Having a plan for your IVF cycle sounds awesome, but I am keeping FX that you can have your surprise BFP before then!

@lazypanda: sounds good to me if anything it could be your raised progestrone too making you hungry..... that is a good sign, hopefully its up for a good reason
Fingers and toes crossed!!!!!!

@lazypanda: That is funny about the noodle soup, I hope that the cravings are a good sign for you
As for me I think I should be ovulating in the next couple of day but I am not temping so that is really just a guess based on CM. I guess a surprise BFP is possible but I think at this point I just ignore the possibility....I feel like that stuff happens to other people not me

@mrswin: I know you prob don't want to hear this, but I felt the same as you on the BFP surprise factor......keep the faith but xontinue your path

@FaithFertility: @mrswin: thanks! I'm hoping the week will go by quickly. I also got my progesterone results, 21.7, not too shabby considering I only had 1 mature follicle released. Last cycle (chemical) with 2 mature follicles at cd13 with a potential third, my progesterone was 27.2 & the time before that was 19.2. So that's giving me hope. As much as I would like to have a BFP, I'm looking forward to eating poke in Hawaii if it doesn't happen for me.

So, Mr. Pinata has a horrible case of poison ivy! Like, ALL over his arms, back, legs and even some on his face. poor guy. and of course, I'm about to ovulate in the next couple of days. So I think this.month we'll be skipping this month.
And as far as me in the scheme of things and update post, we're pretty much taking a break from treatment for a few months and we'll see how the chiropractor and supplements help. Our summer trips pretty much prevent me from getting my fsh or progesterone tested, which I guess is good since then we'll be able to see if the chiropractor stuff works by testing those things at the end of the summer will give us an idea of where we are before heading to the new dr. I know this is the right thing to do. It's just annoying to always feel like we're waiting!

@lazypanda: Eegads! I think I may change the level of detail in the Updates list to something like this: "starting injections for IVF 6/11 (for a projected 6/30 - 7/3 ER)"! I may update it later today, if I get around to it. Also-- @Sunshine1810:'s 6/13 date is her egg retrieval!
@Mrs. Pinata: Rats, that's terrible! Poor DH... Stick with your plan-- I bet the summer will pass (perhaps too?) quickly and you'll be moving on with your testing before you know it!

13 dpo and BFN for me this morning. Supposed to go in for a blood test tomorrow, but not even going to bother.
On top of all this, my grandfather fell and hit his head. He's been in the hospital for 2 weeks now with a hemorrhage and unresponsive. Just sort of looks around at us, but we're not even sure if he recognizes us. And my grandmother just keeps asking for a (well, another now, since my two cousins who started after us have both had kids now) great grandchild and was telling me how much my grandfather has been hoping for me to have a kid since we got marred 3 years ago. I'm not a religious person, but I'd pray to anything now that he recovers and will eventually get to see my child. Please send some positive thoughts his way!

@Mrs. Pinata: I hope that all this "waiting" will provide you with a surprise BFP from the holistic changes/interventions being done.
@FliegepilzHut: I'll edit it tonight, unless you'd like to update since I cannot update from my work computer. I just didn't want to get anything wrong.
@PurplePumps: sending positive thoughts for you & your family.

So, Mr. P is on all kinds of steroids, so I've realized that this means his hormones could be all over the place for several months. Oh blah. But, the important thing is that he gets better first! Poor guy.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@Mrs. Pinata: Ugh sorry about the steroids....Is poison ivy common where you are? I hope he is feeling better soon
blogger / pear / 1563 posts
@mrswin: Hmm... I don't know if it's common or not. He just ended up with that AND some other kind of poison too! Thankfully today seems to be the first day it's finally getting better instead of worse, so hopefully we're turning a corner!

@Mrs. Pinata: uggh, your poor DH The same thing happened to my DH last year and it was so bad in his eyes that he couldn't open them and I had to drive him to the doctor. He was on steroids too, which had me worried since we were doing IF treatments (and, as you know, sperm is created 3 months ahead of time), but it didn't affect his numbers.
blogger / pear / 1563 posts
@Shutterbug: Oh no! His eyes!? Poor guy! How long before he was feeling better? I wouldn't mind if the steroids HELPED his numbers though.
