@FliegepilzHut: That's great you had three to freeze!! Will you test in the next few days or wait for the beta?
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@Jenn23: I am thinking I will probably wait until a day or so before my beta to test (so maybe 7/15?)...

@FliegepilzHut: Your RE does a late beta like mine. That would be 16dp, wouldn't it? Or 11dp5dt? How can you hold out that long?!! I couldn't do it.

@Kelli_Deluxe: @bluestriped bee: @winter_wonder: Thanks. I am excited to finally be moving on.
@Jenn23: Interesting. No mention of draining it at this point because so far it is small but I'm sure if it grows this will come up. I am scheduled to start stims on Friday 07/11!
@FliegepilzHut: I am impressed you are going to hold out that long, I have no such will power! LOL I am thinking sticky thoughts for you

@Jenn23: Yes, beta is on 7/16-- 12dp5dt, so 17 DPO, huh? Yeah, that is pretty late... I just kind of feel like I'll know...and if I'm going to be disappointed, then there's no point in rushing that either! What is your time table?
@mrswin: Thank you!!! Wishing you too!

@Kelli_Deluxe: What a fun photo shoot!! Did you get in the water in your dress too?!
apricot / 288 posts
@LindsayInNY: Yes! We got dragged in due to high tide about 30min in so the rest of the time we pretty much stayed in the ocean! My hair was destroyed but it was so much fun!!

Little update for me... Not sure if it's reduced stress, post-Clomid cycles or what but I've found I'm Oing a couple days earlier now. I use to get +OPK around CD18-20 and I've been getting it around CD17 now. Hmm... But, otherwise just entering the TWW.

Hello ladies, I've been reading along & posted an update over the weekend, but it did not go through. I've had a pretty deep WTF consult last Thursday. I may have to go back on clomid because my RE says it's what works for me & there aren't really other meds to help me ovulate as I'd still begin taking clomid with injectables. We have 1 more round of clomid only IUI, and 3 rounds of clomid, injectables IUI before we would go to IVF. With injectables & IVF, there will be a lot more monitoring so I'm kind of worried how that will go with my work schedule. My RE said that I can switch clinics and sign up with a new RE to one closer to my work & they can work with that RE if I need procedures done over the weekend & would be able to do so with my current RE. I don't wish to start the process over again so I'm supposed to schedule an in person appt with the RE to map out what the plan would be as well as the risks associated with the plan. I also learned that while my insurance covers infertility, it stops short at IVF. Luckily the meds are covered, but the procedures are not & all monitoring will take place in another hospital. I'm going to call an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility to see what my options would be going the TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) route so that I can make a more informed decision regarding my options.
If anyone wants to update the list, please feel free to do so. I might be taking a short break from HB.
@FliegepilzHut: yay for your exciting news! I'm excited to see your update next week.
@mrswin: FX that you'll be able to continue & the cyst will resolve on it's own!
@Kelli_Deluxe: yay for spending quality time with your DH! Will you be living with family in AZ?
@Jenn23: FX that everything looks good for your IVF later this month!
@LindsayInNY: yay for o'ing earlier & FX you won't need an IUI cycle!

@LindsayInNY: Okay!! I'll post a few Yay for the TWW! When is your upcoming family vacation when you and DH have to secretly bd?
@lazypanda: So you've got 4 more medicated rounds before you'd head to IVF? How do you react on clomid, side effects wise? It's nice that your RE is willing to work with the second RE for your scheduling needs! I hope you find the perfect combo of meds and tcm to get your bfp in one of these cycles! I will be moving with my parents in AZ! Part of me feels entirely too old for that but we will save sooooo much more money!

Wow!!
Have been MIA for a little!
Let's see- fav beach is probably Ft Meyers.
Updates: DH's Hand surgeon is holding off on thumb surgery to see if ROM increases with therapy. With surgery there is a decreased chance of certain movements. So re-evaluation is set for end of this month.
I am on cycle day 29. I haven't had the guts to test yet. I always do that and waste money and hurt my heart; I promised myself I wouldn't test until AFTER day 30. If AF comes- I will schedule my cycle day 3 bloodwork and u/s. I have NO symptoms for anything right now... But knowing my body- it's just playing tricks on me!!!

@Kelli_Deluxe: It's this weekend but O has been earlier than usual so "go time" was this past weekend when we were with my family lol! We got there Thursday night and left Sunday. Still managed to get Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Winning all around!!

@LindsayInNY: used to be 28 pre m/c .. Last month was 30. So frustrating !!

@lazypanda: I'm sorry you lost your reply over the weekend...that's so frustrating! It sounds like you may be stuck with Clomid for a little while, but at least it seemed to be working! Did you require a very big dose? Do you think doing a lot more TCM alongside would make it more tolerable? It sounds very promising that your monitoring may be able to be done at the closer office. Hopefully you will like the new RE, too! Never underestimate the blessing that is IF/meds coverage...but I know that must be cold comfort right now. Thinking of you and hoping for a (for both of us ) soon!

@mrs bunchy: I have done that a couple of times too, it is the worst, I hate when AF is late for no good reason. FX for a
@lazypanda: Would you consider moving on to something "bigger" sooner. Do you have to do all those other cycles before moving on for a specific reason? If you can an RE by work will be the easiest, mine is less than a 5 minute walk which is supper convenient, hopefully you wouldn't need to start over again.
@LindsayInNY: Yay for ovulating earlier! Has you LP lengthened as a result?

All I have to say this week is HURRY UP AF! I want to go to the RE! lol

@lazypanda: Aww, I'm sorry. That's whole lot to take in. With the meds and with possibility of using another RE. I remember when I was thinking of switching clinics. It's so exhausting to think about all the added work to see another RE. You want to get pregnant yesterday but it seems like every step in our IF journey adds a bunch of steps.
Yeah, you should look into acupuncture. It definitely relaxes me and allows me to shut down my brain for an hour.
Feel free to take a break. We'll be here when you get back. Hugs!!!
@LindsayInNY: Welcome to the TWW!
@mrs bunchy: Some months I can definitely wait but others I can't. You can wait just a couple more days to POAS!!

@LindsayInNY: @FaithFertility: I'm just going to post these here! Hopefully these aren't huge (sorry!!). Yes, there's really a castle and yes, the water is that blue (and it's warm!). I also included the one of us getting completely swept away as we were walking back bc it's hilarious By the end I lost my floral crown and there's about 10lbs of sand weighing down my dress! We got a lot of amazing shots pre-water, thank God!

So I've been avoiding my sister... I want to text her about regular sisterly stuff but I know that she is early in her pregnancy and she's had a m/c in the past and I'm sure she is very cautious. (I'm friends with her on FF and she got her on June 20th.) I just don't want to have that awkward conversation where she tells me she is pregnant and I have to say how excited I am. I am happy for her and I'm glad she doesn't have the trouble that I'm having, but I just wish I could have gotten pregnant before her. She was on TTC #7 (from stalking on FF). I think a few of those cycles were NTNP.. she told me in April when I got my diagnosis that they were sorta trying. So she actively wasn't trying long. So I'm avoiding her... Just going to try to go as long as possible without talking to her. It's just best that way.
(Ugh, I sound like a jealous sister! I hate this.)
Also, two of my FB friends announced their pregnancies. One announced their second child and my college roomate annouced hers a few hours ago.
Just having a difficult time today. I want to be hopeful while I'm in my TWW but it's so hard! Considering all of the failed IUIs I've had, I'm already thinking that this one might not be it.

@bluestriped bee: I feel you. We went to visit friends who are 16 weeks along this past weekend, and found out another close friend is having their 4th (unplanned). Along with that my psycho sister hasn't spoken to me since December so I don't get to see my adorable niece/nephews.
big big hugs

@babycanuck: Thanks. Holidays and close friends and family are always the worst ones to get over. Hugs to you, too!

@Kelli_Deluxe: Oh my gosh, those photos are stunning!
@bluestriped bee: Your not a terrible sister, we all understand what you are feeling. Do what works for you and I hope in a couple days you are feeling better and who knows there is always a chance you could still be pregnant at the same time

@Kelli_Deluxe: Oh wow! These photos are so awesome!! I LOVE them! @bluestriped bee: Oh man. I totally feel you. I have friends that have had TWO babies since we've been trying for one and those announcements just cut to my core somehow. I'm so sorry! Don't you just hate that "sock you in the gut" feeling?
And about your sister... I've been there too. It's not easy! I promise you'll get there too! Hopefully sooner rather than later!
