So if you guys saw my thread about finding my sister on another forum, I continued stalking and found a post where she admits that our relationship has been weird since she told she was TTC and she is still trying to figure out how and when to tell me. I guess it restores my faith in her being a good sister. Not that I doubted it but you guys know how it's like to hear someone who has never had IF say some insensitive things. My sister has never done that but all it takes is one friend to tell her otherwise.
I knew she was supportive of me in my IF journey and she had a few friends who have IF, too. So she understood the tests and knew the IUI/IVF routine. Sometimes I feel forgotten but now I know my sister is thinking of me. Does that make me selfish to hope and think others are thinking of me?

Thank you for all your sweet words, ladies!
@LindsayInNY: That dress was a J Crew wedding gown my photographer & I found for $10 at a shop that was going out of business!! So it went straight into the trash. My actual wedding dress is still in its garment bag.... I have no idea what to do with it haha
@mrs bunchy: Oh my gosh! Congratulations!! Stick, baby, stick!!
@bluestriped bee: No, it doesn't make you selfish, and it's not weird you were avoiding her. This journey is very isolating and it's nice to know when others DO consider your feelings, bc so often, that's not the case.

@Kelli_Deluxe: Oh, good. Thank you for that response! Just what I needed to hear!

Ok!! Back from the RE. Hopefully will get a call with that first #. Today. They started me on 81mg of asprin and progesterone suppositories for now!
Will update you all when I find out! Thanks so much to everyone!
Also- silly question. 81mg of Bayer asprin is baby asprin right- even if it doesn't say "baby"? Didn't those bottle only exist in like the 80s? Haha!

@FaithFertility: let's hope this is it! The past 2 yrs I would get pregnant in January and miscarry is March. So weird !!! Even more so to be pregnant twice in one year!! Could the HSG have been my saving grace ?!?!

@mrs bunchy: OMG, congrats on your !! Stick baby stick!
I just happen to check up on this thread and see your question too. You're right, it usually doesn't say "baby" on the bottle anymore. This is the one I take:

@mrs bunchy: Fantastic! Congratulations!!!
@bluestriped bee: So wish I could give you a hug!! You are not selfish in the slightest! This is such a difficult and, more often than not, a silent process. I didn't really want to talk to either my sister or even my best friend during my first round of IF treatment… how could they understand, they didn't have any trouble. But the more I opened up, the more they understood and could be supportive. But this second time around, I just don't really want to talk about it, so I haven't mentioned much of anything. You do what you need to do! If that's not talking about it, that's your decision. You and your sister will get on the right track when the time is right for you both.

@bluestriped bee: And yes, you're definitely, definitely not selfish at all! It's such a tricky time. I can probably count on my ONE hand the number of times I asked my sister pregnancy-related questions, but she totally understood and was sweet about it.

@GreenThumb: Packing is so time consuming but I try and take it as an opportunity to PURGE all the crap we manage to accumulate

alright ladies, I'm ready to take the plunge on the ceremonial sharing of the unused tests. I am 13 weeks on Thursday and just got good NT results so I'm feeling like it's time to pass them on! first person to reply gets them . . . wall me your address (I'm not gold but if you are you can protect it I think)
I have:
- an unopened box of 2 FRERs (clearly I did not know these were there at the time . . . found them when we moved)
- ~20 wondfo OPKs
- ~47, nearly a complete package of wondfo HPTs
- can also throw in a box of unopened mini solo cups for collection
all expire 2015. happy to split it up if you don't want everything.
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@bhbee: I don't need the wondfros but I'll take the FRER. You can send it all to me and I can give the wondfros away with my stash.

So this just came to me. I'm thinking about telling my sister I know she is pregnant. I can text her and take the pressure off her and save the possible awkward conversation. I can let her know that I'm happy for her but that it's hard for me and to give me some space if I need it. Then she can worry about having a happy and healthy pregnancy. Tell her that I can be there for her if she needs support. Just like I was when she was pregnant and m/c before. Tell her to not feel guilty for being pregnant. My IF journey is my own and I have to deal with pregnancy announcements all the time. Some days are better than others but please know that I am happy for her and her DH.

@mrs bunchy: Hooray for a lucky HSG baby!!!
@GreenThumb: Great news! for your FET!
@bhbee: Congrats on your 13 week milestone!

@bluestriped bee: That sounds like a good idea. I bet she'll be understanding. Will you let her know how you found out?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@FliegepilzHut: yeah, I think through FF isn't too bad. It can be understandable that I found out that way. As for the forum, I don't think I can tell her that, yet. Maybe later, I'll ask her if she is still on that forum.
I wrote up a draft...
Hey [sister]
So I wanted to tell you that I know you are pregnant. I follow you on FF and I saw that you got your BFP. I want to tell you that I'm happy for you and [dh]! Please know that. Please don't feel guilty for being pregnant. I know the IF journey that I'm on is my own. I'm here for you if you need anything. I was there for you for your pregnancy and m/c. The one thing I do ask you is to give me some space if I need it. Please don't think of me if you post anything on FB. I've said this before to my online friends that I still love seeing baby announcements and baby pictures. Some days are harder than others but once I get out of that temporary funk I'll be oohing and ahhing over anything baby related.
--that's what I have so far. How does it sound?
