I'll throw in a vote for DC since I live here, but I'd probably go anywhere on the east coast. I agree that Atlanta is easy to get to and has cheaper lodging than lots of the other proposed cities (plus I used to live there and love it there so I'm biased).

Why does no one want to have the meetup in KC?!
I chose Chicago because it's the only possible drive-able one.

@.twist.: same! I'd go for NYC or Boston, because I *think* they're closest to Canada!

@.twist.: Back when i was in Toronto, i may have said that @redsmarties: but alas i no longer live in the centre of the universe. Just teasing!

Selfishly, I pick Chicago (a 5 hour drive) or DC (I have family there and wouldn't have to stay in a hotel).
Though, TN would work for me as well, since Nashville is like three hours away.

Selfishly Chicago because it would take me only 30 minutes and because it's AWESOME.

@swurlygurl: word!
You want affordable and central? Come to KC homies!!!
I love the idea of Disney though!!!

@Freckles: haha well maybe I'll just change my vote to Toronto then

@kjpugs: Oh yeah, that shouldn't cost too much! LOL. Although if Mr. bee is hosting, let's just do ahead and do a dinner seating so we can watch the fireworks too.
I'm actually going to Chicago next month for a Mom Meetup. It's a private FB group of May 2013 moms which spawned from the WB group for our due date month when we wanted a more private way of communicating. There's about 6 of us going (a couple who I think may be on here too?) and I'm so excited about it!

I voted Atlanta cuz I think it's probably the easiest for most of us to get to (as pps have mentioned ,it's SO easy/cheap to get flights to ATL). Plus I have friends there and could stay for free. And there's a ton to do in Atlanta.
That being said, I'd also love it if it were in Memphis. I've heard awesome things about that city and have been wanting to go for years.

@avivoca: Come see meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (Note: By the time you actually come see me, you'll be so tired of me pleading that you'll never want to talk to me again :P)

NYC, because it's the closest to where I am (Ontario) and I have family that lives there.

I'm in Boston but chose NYC since it seems like an easier location for more people.

Seattle needs to be on there. There a few of us Pacific Northwest bees.
Everywhere is far from me, so I picked San Fran.

New York or Philly, because they are relatively close to me

I voted Atlanta so I'd be close enough to go visit family. Dallas or NYC would be great too!

If we did chicago (and had kids with us) I would happily plan lots of fun kid activities. And help hook everyone up with sitters so we can do some fun stuff in the evening kid free

Seattle, Portland or Vancouver! Only because it's close to me.
Unless you do Orlando area around Aug 2-9th. Or NYC or Philly areas during Sept 20 ish. Hehe!

Ha Dallas, since I live here. But I'd hate for anyone to spend lots of money to travel to this concrete jungle.

I'd pick Vegas because there are always super-cheap deals and more people could go.

I'm surprised by how many Chicago bees there are!! Flights to Chicago are cheap here, so I'd be down with that, too.

I picked Atlanta cause its the most realistic for me to get to. Also cheaper than a lot of other cities.

What, no one wants to come out my way to Detroit? I mean...it's so appealing! Who needs Chicago or Disney World?
