We are leaving Sunday afternoon for my parents. They are only 45 mins away. Then Christmas morning after presents and breakfast, we will drive 4 hours to DH's family till the morning of the 27th. I hate spending so much time in the car on Christmas but what can you do.

Headed to Chicago tomorrow evening, provided my flight doesn't get canceled due to snow. Then off to Milwaukee for Christmas Eve evening/Christmas day. Whoop!

This is the first year EVER that I'm not going anywhere for Christmas. Last year we spent four days in the car driving from Toronto to Palm Beach. I swore that I wouldn't spend another holiday in the car. This year we are staying within 45 minutes of the hospital because we'll be on baby watch!

@blackbird-- we are going to Mexico too! Cozumel, and I am super excited. It's me, my husband, 16 month old and my mom and my MIL. Babysitters! I hope it's relaxing and warm and just an awesome week away.

We're in the UK and have been here for nearly two weeks, staying with the ILs and absolutely loving it! We're off to the States next week and we'll be there for 10 days for DH, 4 weeks for me, before we head back to Australia. Totally enjoying every minute of the cold weather before we head back to the heat and sunshine of Aussie summer.

@blackbird: Jealous!
I'm going to visit my mother who just moved to Orlando, Florida. I've never been there. She just got married, and I've never met her husband's family. Quite frankly, I'm not looking forward to it.

Usually go to my in laws 4 hours away but since LO is so little this year, they are coming to us.

We'll be getting on a plane Friday to visit the in-laws. Nervous about DS flying lap-child since he is going to walk up and get around, but why pay for 4 tickets when I can still get away with 3...
@autumnlove: I would actually love to hang around home for a few weeks, but gotta do in-law duty!

We really wanted to go camping for Christmas, but that's not going to happen. So, we are staying home and going to my parents house on Christmas eve (they live in town).

We're leaving Sunday for my in law's place. Since my family doesn't really do Xmas, we spend it with his family every year.... for now at least. We'll probably want to do some Xmas's at home once we have a LO.
