How long has it been since you first started trying?

I have two dates. We started TTC in Nov 2011, but had some TTC breaks and some months with no TWW, so that why I have a true actively TTC count of 26 months, so far.
I primarily use 26 months on here but I think telling people IRL we have been waiting since 2011, put things into perspective how long we've been waiting. DH tells people we have been trying since 2011.
Maybe in my IF, I'm the only one who keeps track of these two numbers. 26 months of active TTC or 32 months since starting TTC.
ETA: I'm a little torn on what to vote for. So I didn't vote.

I voted 2.5 years but it's really been more like 2.25 years. How are you doing? Did you get that tattoo you were talking about earlier yet?

We've been trying for 3 years. We started trying in May 2011.

It's been 15 months and 17 cycles. Currently in my TWW.

Fingers crossed and my heart goes out to all of you!!!! I know what it is like to go through so much heartache and time and procedures, etc. to get your little ones. I hope it happens for all of you SOON!!!!

I voted 1.5 yrs, but about to start my 20th month of trying. Hopefully this HSG/med free cycle will be lucky so I won't have to get to month 20!

Just 1! We can figure out baby #2 later. Though, I hope we don't have IF for baby #2.

I'm at just over one year, But it feels longer (we did ntnp for awhile before that).
Those that have been battling this for longer, I don't know how you do it. I truly don't. You are all so, so strong.

Almost 2 years, since October 2012. Some months here and there we skipped but we pretty much knew going into TTC that Wishing everyone their little miracles soon!

@bluestriped bee: I keep track of a lot of numbers also. Partly because right now, the number of cycles number makes me feel *slightly* better. It's been 22.5 months, but "only" actually been 15 cycles (with 1 cycle off). If I don't count the first 7-8 months where I only ovulated twice, we started being normal enough to "really" try June 2013 and it's "only" been a year.

We started trying in Jan 2013 thinking that my PCOS was our only hurdle.
Boy, did I do a lot of useless POASing across 2013! I glibly hoped that my good diet, optimism, cyst-free streak (thanks to bcp) and some luck would see us conceive, but luck seems hard to come by with IF. So here we are, just over 1.5yrs later.
It's weird to think that the majority of us would already be mothers to toddlers if we'd had it easy!

@Robyn_ZA: Aww, I know, sadly, we have a close friend that started TTC around the time we started and got pregnant within 3 months. They just celebrated her 2nd birthday. They are really good friends but it's just so hard seeing pics of their daughter. It's a living reminder how long it's been.
