i was 6cm. i was ready to ask for it at 4, though. they gave me dilaud instead & i walked. it was all done from 20 minutes of me asking, i was surprised at how fast it went!

I said 10 because right after I got it, it was time to start pushing. But when I asked for it I was at a 9.

I'm not sure, I think between 4-6cm.
I also had back labor that felt like I was being electrocuted and having a seizure at the same time, totally loss of every bodily function paired with the most severe pain I've ever felt. I was told DS was at an awkward position and in order to try to turn him they would give me the epidural so my body wasn't so tense, muscles could relax, etc. At that point I was like OH HELL YES.
I don't know what regular labor feels like because aside from BH I didn't really feel anything strong until my water broke. Back labor sucks.

I was only 3cm... but I was induced for preeclampsia so I was not allowed out of bed and had pitocin for about 10 hours before getting one. Once I got the epidural I was ready to push in about 8 hours.

I'm not entirely sure. I was checked upon being admitted and was 3 cm dilated. I had to wait more than an hour before a delivery suite was available and in that time, the contractions were one on top of the other and exceedingly painful. When I finally got settled in a room, two hours later, I asked for the epidural. They didn't check me before they administered it; however, considering my contractions slowed right down and the next time I was checked I was fully dilated, I'm guessing I was further along than 3 cm when I got the epi. I'll never know for sure though!

I was about an 8 when I asked for it. Shortly after they hooked me up to the fluids and were about to call them in to put it in though, I started involuntarily pushing. They said I could still get it (I was at 10) but that I'd have to be still and they thought it would draw out the length of labor. So I never got it.

6 cm after 30 hours of back labor - that was some serious pain.

I was around 6cm and man, I was soooooooo ready. As afraid as I was of that thing, I was so happy when I had it.

10! I had a cervical lip that was about to rupture, but I couldn't stop pushing.

I wanted to wait till I was 7 so it wouldn't slow down my labor. It did anyways!

I was 5 cm's but hadn't made any progress for five hours so I had the epidural in conjunction with pitocin.
