If you could magically bypass the labor experience, would you?

Heck yeah I would skip it if that were an option!

I really liked pushing (with an epidural), but wouldn't mind skipping the three days of contractions beforehand.

Do it again for sure. I missed my natural birth due to a lot of shitty interventions, and I'm really sad about it. I think I could have done it pain med free if I'd had the chance. The four months of (mostly just annoying) recovery from my tears I'd skip, though.

I want to do it again since I wasn't able to have the delivery I wanted ONLY if I was guaranteed that I would go into labor naturally and be able to do it with no interventions.

If not, hell no. I'd skip it. No way will I be induced again. lol

I agree with others that I would want to skip 6-10 cm which is also when my water broke. Either that or I'd like an epidural next time (I progressed too fast to get one). I honestly thought I was dying during that stage but the early labor and pushing I could handle.

Heck no, I can't wait to experience birth!! Mind, I said that about nausea and I changed my mind pretty quickly when that came along!!!

I'd skip it, going through labor/delivary/recovery once is good enough for me.

I'm having a schedule c-section, so technically, I'm skipping actual "labor" (at least I hope!), however, I'd skip the whole darn experience if I could. I'd really just like to wake up and have my baby there, all nice and clean. I've had enough pain for one lifetime!

Yes, i plan to have a schedule c, when i have number 2. i wasn't that fond of laboring to get nowhere, i guess, and ending up with a c-section.
