I don't really have strong feelings about the color of the house itself (currently brick and white), but I REALLY want a TARDIS blue front door and shutters. Don't know if DH will go for it, but I'm definitely trying.

Either beige or gray with white trim, black shutters, and a red door!

Ours is light gray now and we are repainting this spring. I'm thinking a darker gray or maybe a blue like your last picture.

pale yellow houses. During summer, it looks almost beige amongst the trees and during winter, the yellow pops out from the snow. Ours is called Nora by Beckers Perfekt.I originally wanted yellow and white, but fell in love with the contrast of our dark window panes (dark brown with the wood showing through)- the original color. But DH wants them white. We may never get them changed. Lol.

Our current home is half hardiboard and half brick. The original was masonite in an ugly olive color. When we replaced it with hardiboard, we colored it with brown and cream. It looks really nice compared to the old color!

I love the second picture you posted! I think I saw that before and choose something exactly like that and it's perfect! I used a slightly more offwhite trim too so it looks a little softer over all.

@chopsuey: That second pic is pretty much my dream house. Sigh.Ours is red brick with white doors. Eventually, I want to paint the doors/garage...but its not high on priority right now.

@chopsuey: oh I love the first picture! Do you have paint names? We are going to paint ours in the fall...I can't WAIT. it's currently an awful faded green that looks almost yellow in spots. Ugh.
