How long did it take until you conceive again? Did the next one stick?
I had a chemical last week at 5 weeks. Got my period right away and got a 
the next time I tested so my doctor told us we could try again right away. I had no idea how common chemical pregnancies were and am trying to look on the bright side that I know we can get pregnant now, but it is still hard. Just looking for some stories from other people who had similar experiences....

I am so sorry for your loss.
I had a chemical around cycle 5? Maybe cycle 6. Then I conceived again on cycle 10, but I miscarried that one as well. I conceived my son on cycle 13.

3 cycles. We kind of avoided O during the first two, and got a sticky on the third. Good luck! Any kind of MC is hard, and it's hard not to worry. Unfortunately, a lot of us here have been through it. You'll find great support in this community!

I'm so sorry you're going through this.
I had a chemical pregnancy after 9 months of trying. It kind of broke my heart. It took us another 5 months, but we did get pregnant again and this time it stuck!
It's easy to feel like "it's just a chemical"... but it is a loss. Give yourself permission to feel whatever you are feeling and to mourn the loss if you needed to. Take care!

@kbm1026: I'm so sorry for your loss. I had two back to back chemicals last summer, so it took me one month to conceive again. I had a third in November, and got my sticky baby in December (I'm a day shy of 15 weeks). We started seeing an RE I. September again, and I really think the progesterone helped me.

I had an early miscarriage around 6 weeks. My doctor told me to wait a cycle to try again - it took 6 weeks to get my period and then after that I got pregnant with my son on the third cycle trying again.

I also had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks. It took 5 weeks to get my period, and I was told to wait another cycle Before trying again.
We unofficially tried the month we weren't supposed to, and officially tried last month. So, on our third cycle and no baby yet.

I am in your same boat. Just had one last week myself and just finished bleeding. I am going to call the dr to see what's next. I think I am on to seeing an RE as this was my last round of clomid with my ob. (7 months on it). GL and best wishes to you!!

Ps. Did you have any pain? With my 1st mc it was at 6.5 weeks and the pain was so painful a dr I work with put me on a pain med and muscle relaxer. This time, I just took 4 Advil every 8 hrs for the first 2 days, but day 3 I needed flexeril to get me through the night.. It's so painful!!

As for CPs being painful, I had bad bad cramps after my second one, but didn't bleed for almost 3weeks after it, it was solo crazy!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had two miscarriages in a row, then we took a month off, then I got our sticky BFP. Don't let the back to back scare you, though-the first one had no influence on the second.

@mrs bunchy I'm so sorry for your loss. My cp was definitely more painful than AF usually was. I needed tylenol round the clock for the first three days. A little insult to injury right? I hope we both get soon!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I've had four chemicals - for me, there is clearly an underlying problem but a lot of people do just have a random one so I wouldn't worry. I had 2 with only 1 cycle BFN in between, and then right on the heels of the second I had a successful BFP. second time around (LO#2) it has been a couple BFN, CP, 2 BFN, CP, trying again now and hoping for another sticky. we've been working with an RE and doing treatments almost all of that time because of my issues.
that probably sounds scary but I hope you get a sticky one soon, my case is definitely not the norm!

@kbm1026: My good friend had a chemical at about 5 weeks in January and was actually able to conceive the following cycle. She is about 5-6 weeks pregnant this time and had been monitoring her betas as well as getting ultrasounds. Everything looks perfect! So sorry you're going through this but I'm glad you are able to try again so soon. FX for you.

@KBM1026 I am so sorry for your loss! I am going through a chemical pregnancy right now ( after 4-5 weeks ) and it is a lot harder than I thought it would be ..emotionally!
I have been reading lots of success stories of being get pregnant the next month so that is keeping me positive! The other positive is that we can get pregnant!

There are lots of success stories here on HB after a chemical pregnancy... A lot of bees express hope knowing that they can get BFPs so hang in there and I hope you get a sticky baby soon! It will happen!!

@kbm1026: So sorry for your loss. I had a chemical pregnancy on cycle 2 at 5w3d and I found it to be such a weird thing to process, and even talk about with anyone other than DH. I had never even heard of a chemical pregnancy before my OB said that was what happened...it's a terrible name if you ask me. Anyway, after a weird cycle 3 and normal cycle 4, I got pregnant on cycle 5 and will be 25 weeks tomorrow. So it will happen for you!

So sorry for your loss @kbm1026. I had a chemical in February at 5 weeks, and then got pregnant again (with no true period in between), but then that turned out to be a chemical as well. I'm now waiting one cycle to get a real period since I haven't had a true one since January (have just had both instances of m/c bleeding), and then we'll start TTC again. Hopefully we both have sticky babies coming our way!
