Did your LO eventually start to have more of a routine/space out feedings more? If so, when? My LO is 6 weeks and she eats constantly during the day - I mean literally clusterfeeds all day and I'm hoping once she's past the 6 week growth spurt she'll settle down a little and get more of a routine? Or at least a little longer stretches between feeds? Just wondering if that is wishful thinking
I shouldn't complain because she sleeps 7-8 hour stretches at night, but the all day feeding would be impossible once I go back to work!
I'm just wondering if this might happen naturally, as I'm not really wanting to do baby wise or anything like that, especially with such a small baby.
Definitely keep it in perspective, she HAS to eat that often to sleep that long!
). I'm sorry I can't remember when it spaced out, but it did gradually, on her own. We still sort of cluster feed at night to tank her up for her first stretch of sleep, at 6 months, but I actually do it intentionally (like she eats at 5/5:30 and again at 7). Otherwise it's about every 3 hours now, but she can go longer if she's napping or distracted.
