It's okay that there is another post like this. It's always nice to see different responses! I have no advice but room sharing what I'm planning to do in the future.

I think there are plenty of posts - I considered the same thing. My two DS are 22 mos apart, the youngest is now 7 mos old and I still haven't gotten him out of our closet. He still wakes once around 4-5am, and its not worth waking up my older DS until he is sleeping more consistently.

My kids will have to share a room, so I enjoy the responses in these types of threads because I worry about how it will go.

I want to do this, but I'm thinking if I can, not having them share until the newborn is actually sleeping through the night. I'd hate for all the MOTN wake-ups to disturb my toddler's sleep! I bet a lot of people do it though if they don't have the room otherwise and it must work okay!
