@wonderstruck: We have an Evan, and it probably would have been Evan James but one of our closest friends is named James and we didn't want to play favorites and name him after anyone alive (though both Evan and Charles are family names).
the name!

@rachiecakes: I like that name! Even more so after getting hooked on Parenthood.
(Binge watching Season II this weekend!).

I came here for some inspiration
We can't decide on a girl name to save our lives!
Without DH's say:
Girl; Kellan Diane
Boy: Kellen Michael
with DH's say:
Girl: Everly Michael or Meredith Diane
boy would stay the same regardless.

@LuLu Mom: I'm searching for inspiration too! So far I love these:
Boy: Jason Ames, Jason Beau, Jason Bodie
Girl, Anna Claire, Caroline Mae, Anna Mae, Annabelle Mae
First name for a boy will be Jason no matter what. It's in memory of my DH's best friend who died in Afghanistan. Girls middle name will probably contain a family name as well.

@jenm: love Jason and you never hear it for littles
what a sweet tribute to your DH's friend

@LuLu Mom: also here for inspiration. we are at a loss and really struggling!
If I was having a baby with someone else, my girl would be Caroline or Maeve... but can't use Caroline because of our last name or Maeve because DH is Dave haha.
If we had a boy he woulda been Clark Thomas, no questions asked. A second boy would be Reid Mitchell.
so of course we're having a girl in April! ahh.
Willa or Rose probably, with Elizabeth or Dawn as middle name options. WE HAVE NO IDEA. help. haha.

@mamabolt: You have the same taste as me! My son is a Nate and if we had a girl, it would have been Josephine.

If it was solely up to me:
Girl: Elodie Elizabeth
Boy: Charles Xavier (yes, I know that is from X Men)

@rachiecakes: Thank you
I wasn't a fan of the name before but after everything happened it was just a given and now I love it. I can't wait to tell Jason's mom. She's going to be so happy

@wonderstruck: That's funny, my 4-month daughter's name is Aurora Violet! I think it's a beautiful combination, either way.
If I had another girl now, I'd want to name her Deirdre (maybe with Rose as a middle name for a floral theme), but my husband has a negative association with that name, so I might go for Bridget instead.
I like Oscar for a boy's name (great-grandfather's name).

I'd be screwed. I think I would have to flip a coin between Ava, Elle, and now I've fallen in love with Olivia too
lol.

we have an Asher and a Jesse already, but if we had another boy it would be Toby (Tobias), and if a girl, Adrienne or Kara.

Girl - Elizabetta, Annalise or Antonia
Boy - Daniel, my only go-to boy name, so will really need to do some research if we ever have one!

Girl = Cadence Victoria (or vice versa) or Allison Jane
Boy = Christopher (Jr). But if we had a second boy, I'd name him Logan Edward.
