On scale from 1 to 10, I'm at like an 8. I don't want to get my hopes up too high but 4:50 am is too early and I would be SO happy with just an hour later!

I don't normally have an early riser, but the past two weeks ds2 has been getting up earlier and earlier.

@Mrs. Sunshine: my kid is also a 4:30/ 5 am riser so I am SUPER pumped. He's 14 months, do you think he will sleep in or will he outsmart the clock??

@pachamama: I really don't want to jinx you by guessing in either direction! lol hopefully he will sleep in!

Lol - this is how I got my kid to sleep past 6 AM when she was 18 months old. It was awesome.

@ValentineMommy: mine too! It's just so bright at 615 so I get it. I'm thankful I don't have to be anywhere early in the morning and it will be dark at 615 so hopefully not as exciting to wake up.

Yes, even if it is only for a few days. DS has been waking up by 5:30 lately.

I was wondering. these guys get up so early. but i am not sure i would trade that for a prolonged bedtime (both babies asleep by 7:15 most nights) so yeah, we are up at 5:30 or 6.

I don't know....my kids get up around 5:30 but they have to get up at 6 for daycare anyway, so really it just screws up bedtimes.

Kids got up at 6:45 and 7! Yay!
It being darker definitely helps. Been waiting for daylight savings for a few weeks!

Alice got up at 6:15 new time, so 5:15 the old time...so she actually got up about half an hour earlier than usual. So who knows how the rest of the day is going to go. It's 8:45 and her brother is still sleeping! My niece and nephew were here yesterday and he was worn out from all the excitement. He's never slept in this much, though!

They aren't super early risers, but R is typically up at 6:30. Both kids woke just before 8 today! Then R decided it was a good day to nap 2-5 He still went to bed at 8:20 and T was 8:45. I'll be so happy if they make it to 7:30 tomorrow, but totally prepared for 6:30.
