If your LO has grandparents caring for them. Whose parents are they? Mom or dads? Just curious.

There was no option for my situation! My mom watches DS on Wed and my MIL watches on Fridays.

@regberadaisy: Yes, we are so lucky. It's awesome to see how much DS loves his grandparents and it helps so much financially!

DH's mom watched DD from 3 months to 15 months - I would have loved for my mom to do it but she has a life
MIL is retired and did nothing all day so she was so excited to watch her!
My mom works PT , volunteers for tons of stuff and travels the world!

My mom for a few reasons -
1) They moved closer to us
2) His parents don't drive on high-way
3) His mom is pre-occupied w/ his sister's kids
But even if his parents are more available, I'd prefer my mom anyway!

My parents do 2 days a week and my in laws do 3. When they are unavailable, my sister usually fills in. It's a lot of driving but otherwise works great. My son is so close with his grandparents.

It will be my mom and we will pay her. My mom lives with us, so it'll be a nice perk.

My mom (and dad) watched my LO from when she was about 15 months til 3 for twice a week. They watch her occasionally now. But the bond they formed during that age still carries. She loves her grandparents. Even now, she likes to go "spend a night" there.

It's my in-laws, simply because they are ready to retire and able to move, and my parents are not able to do either. In an ideal world, I would prefer my parents.

My mom will start watching lo on Monday when I return to work. DH's parents have both passed away unfortunately.

We moved closer to grandparents in part because both sets have watched DS.

Its dad's parents. They are amazing and we would be lost without them!
