How did you make yours?
I have a container of chalkboard paint, but no idea where to start. Did you use a piece of plywood? the glass part of a frame?

I'd love to know too! I know ikea sells easels, but don't know if I can order online.

@sorrycharlie: DH made ours. He used plywood and bought trim from Lowes/ HD. Then he painted it with chalkboard paint -quite a few coats! Then my friend made the art part with chalk pens; which btw does not erase! She designed it on the computer and printed in via Photoshop. Then she cut it out the void and used it as a stencil.
If you make this gold I'll share it.

We got a wooden frame from Hobby Lobby and just used that board that's cardboard on either side with styrofoam inside (the name escapes me right now), painted that with the chalkboard paint. We used it in our wedding, others have used in their weddings, and just last Saturday used it for DD's 1st birthday. It's been a great under $10 investment!

@regberadaisy: Yes! Thank you (even though she's one now she's still not STTN so my brain function isn't up to par)
