How do you handle that with LO's? I'm an EXTREMELY picky eater. No fruits except a few in smoothies, *very* few vegetables, etc. I'm working on it and have managed to branch out some, but I feel like I'm never going to eat the way I'd like to. I don't want to pass that on to any kids through watching me. I get that they could just inherit my tastes, but I don't want them to see me turning my nose up at things and deciding they must be yuck. And I don't think I'm a good enough actress to tough it out with things I really don't like. I tend to gag on those things. Thankfully DH is the least picky eater I know, so he'll be great, but what can I do to minimize the damage I can do.
Note- We plan on BLW, so I'm hoping letting them learn things they like when they're still young enough to not even necessarily be eating at the same time I am (or at least not notice if there are some differences) will help.
Also, any tips on getting adequate nutrition? I know I'm doing badly, and I take a lot of supplements, but that gets expensive.
And lastly, am I the only one who really hates the having to use the word "picky?" It implies that I choose to be this way. I hate it! I'd give anything to love everything the way DH does.
