@sandy: I am sooo excited for you guys and just hoping everything goes perfectly with your transfer!
I am loving seeing all of these mamas who will be TTC again soon!

I have to wait until DD is weaned to go back on fertility meds. DH and I will also have to update our home study, consider getting a backup donor, and save money for the FET. I'm hoping to cycle between May and September 2017.

TTC in January. I am super excited for another baby and very, very nervous for another pregnancy.

@Mrs. Champagne: oh, hooray!
@sandy: I am so very excited for you, sweet Mama
@nana87: due date twins again, please!!!

@emilye519: amen to that. Adult problems suck.
@smurfette: that is super exciting!!

@LovelyPlum: hopefully the new year will bring us both good luck! I think I am ovulating right around when I get my IUD out, but not sure if getting it out will mess it up. But I will make sure to seduce DH that night!

@Smurfette: thanks My OB said I would be fertile right away, so hopefully that's the case for you, too. I think the New Year needs to bring some big sisters!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@LovelyPlum: Do you have an IUD? And needs to bring a little sister in our case
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
@LovelyPlum: yes please! we haven't figured out our timing exactly because I'm waiting to see if I'm getting a summer teaching gig--I won't want to be extremely pregnant over the summer if I do get it I so hate tying our fertility plans to grad school timing/funding issues, but I don't really see another way of balancing it. And it's a 2-way street--I didn't apply for write-up grants this year because I'm hoping to take a maternity leave next year/won't possibly be able to finish the dissertation while having a newborn

@sandy: I am beyond excited for you guys!
Ideally we'd NTNP summer 2016 and TTC in the fall so they would be about over 2 years but less than 3 apart.

@Smurfette: oh, I meant that our girls need to become big sisters And yes, I had one, but I got it out in August after it started irritating/infecting my cervix. I had Paraguard, and my cycle bounced right back. We've been using PNP/NFP since then
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@LovelyPlum: Oh I know that is what you meant. We just want another girl! Did you have any bleeding when you got yours out?
eggplant / 11408 posts
@nana87: right. I will be in London next June, so ideally I don't want to be gigantic while there. I'm on research year next year, so no teaching. I'm hoping to do a lot stateside, with just a few quick trips abroad. I don't want to plan around school, either, but there's not much choice. I figure, we managed it once, we will do it again. In other words, there is no good plan, so do whatever works for my family.

We are pretty sure we are done. If we were going to have another we would want to start ttc soon to have a 2 year gap this time. And I just don't see that happening anytime soon.
eggplant / 11408 posts
@Smurfette: two girls would be fun! I go back and forth about boy or girl. I had a little bleeding, but I was bleeding while it was in, so who knows where it came from. Hopefully, you won't, and you guys can get this show on the road!

If we decide to go for a third we won't start trying until DS is at least 2, so not for 2.5 more years. But we want to see what life with 2 is like first!
persimmon / 1322 posts
We've talked about aiming for about 2 to 2.5 years apart. I think we'll start seriously discussing it next summer, just before our LO turns one.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
We'll try again next summer maybe. I hope. Waiting has not been easy, though.
eggplant / 11408 posts
@MrsKoala: I'm so sorry this time didn't work out. You guys decided to push it back again?
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
IF we decide to have another (we're waiting and trying to decide at this point), we would likely start TTC at the end of summer 2016. Not sure yet, though!
nectarine / 2086 posts
I'm not sure - we want them 2-3 years apart but this one took over a year to conceive naturally. She is only 3 months now so we have plenty of time to decide when to start ttc!

We will probably start TTC in late April or shortly thereafter. Eek! That puts LOs about 2 1/2 years apart if things happen quickly, which would be perfect.
pineapple / 12053 posts
well, DD2 is only 3 weeks old, but ideally, i'd like the next one to be born 5 years apart from DD1. so that puts us at TTC in spring 2017.
pomegranate / 3438 posts
We have an appointment with the RE tomorrow! I'm hoping to start our first cycle in December or January. But it might get pushed back depending on if we need to repeat tests since its been almost 5 years.

@LovelyPlum: Yep, back to the summer of 2016. DH got freaked out about money with potentially two kids after the MC so asked if we could push it back. I understand his concerns so we wait.

We are waiting to TTC until summer 2016. LO is 2 now. Sometimes my baby fever wants to start sooner
pomegranate / 3604 posts
Wel ds3 is a week old so not anytime soon and I need to finish at least my undergrad first, and I want a Jan/February/March baby, so not until spring 2018. *pout* seems so far away!
nectarine / 2466 posts
We are trying for #3 right now That will be 3 babies in 3 years haha. After that, I think we will be done, but I don't think we will take any permanent measures right away.
apricot / 347 posts
I'm pregnant with LO1 right now, but I'd say we will start trying for #2 about a year and a half to two years after LO1 is born. I talked to DH about it and he said, "let's just see how THIS one goes!!"
nectarine / 2148 posts
If the timing works out well, we won't start ttc for about another year. We have some other goals we would really like to hit first.
pineapple / 12526 posts
IF (and thats a big if) we decide to, it wont be for another 3-4 years. C will fully be in elementary school. lol
apricot / 251 posts
We're trying, but since I still don't have my period back after having DS1 in January (we're still BFing and he quit STTN about 6 weeks ago, sigh), it's mostly wishful thinking. I never imagined that I would be wishing for my period to start back up again. At my OB's suggestion, I even tried not nursing or pumping for 24 hours and even that was not enough to get things going again.
