When do you plan on having your next LO? We are done! But if we were to have another it wouldn't be for another year or so. But we are so so done

Hopefully soon? I miscarried in October and my OB wants us to wait 2 cycles before trying again. I finally got my period so I'm guessing we'll try again sometime in December after my next cycle.

We are presently NTNTP however I am still BFing E. So I haven't had a cycle in ages. I don't think we will get pregnant until I stop BFing.

I go back and forth a lot about wanting a third. We're not currently TTC, but if it doesn't happen by when LO2 is 1, I'm thinking we'll be done.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Ahhh, I don't know! We want a third, but the timing is up in the air. I kinda want them all close together, but 2 under 2 was HARD at the beginning! LO2 is 3.5 months, sooo we'll probably TTC sometime between next Summer and the beginning of 2017.

We are "trying" now (although technically waiting until AF comes back due to miscarriage in October).

Probably soon, in the next few months. DS2 is almost 1 and I'm 35, so we're gonna get a move on. The thought of pregnancy and having another newborn so soon is terrifying though, ha!

@MrsRcCar: I wouldn't be so sure! I thought the same thing and got pregnant a few months ago - total shock - was still breastfeeding including overnight and DS2 was only 9 months! It ended in m/c who knows if that was because of BF, though.

I would like to start TTC between January and April. I need to avoid having babies between May and August due to my husband's work schedule.

@winniebee: yup.
If all goes well with my third delivery we'd like another two years apart. Not doing this Irish twins thing again.

We are NTNP right now. I guess you could say TTC light because I AM aware of when I'm ovulating but only because tracking my cycles was our BC before.

I think the ideal time would be Spring or Summer of 2017. I have PCOS though so I don't have my heart set on any timing. I also need to convince my husband that we want another one over the next 6 months

It would have to be soon. I would like to not be pregnant after 40 and I'm turning 38 in the spring. Ugh. Anyone want to have my baby for me?
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
Not sure, but if we do, #1 needs to be in kinder before #3 goes in daycare. So, technically I can be pregnant in about a year. In an ideal world I would be done with having kids by the time I'm 35. I'm 33 now.

@winniebee: E is almost 2. I am holding out hope to get pregnant but it isn't looking likely. We have been NTNTP since last February.

We have been NTNP since I had LO. I will really start TTC though once LO turns 1 in June,
pomegranate / 3973 posts
Possibly next year... I go back and forth on when to start ttc but thinking January since that is when we started 2 years ago with LO and got pregnant month 3. That will put LO's about 2 years apart.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
It will be at least 2 years before we start trying. LO2 is 8 months and i want LO1 to be in school when LO3 is born.

I'm pregnant right now (only 7.5 weeks). If all goes well maybe when this one is around 1 we will try again.

It's been a full year now since my csection so we are moving forward with IVF for baby #3. We did the egg retrieval this fall and the plan at the moment is to do our frozen embryo transfer in January.

@sandy: I have all my fingers crossed for you, mama
We will TTC when my period comes back, as long as the baby is nine months old by then.

I'm having this baby in April and then, officially, we are done. I'm hoping for an accident not long after!
grapefruit / 4903 posts
I'm not sure. We'd like more kids, but I don't feel any urgency. I think we'll be NTNP this year and TTC about a year from now when DD2 turns 2. That would put them '12-'14-'17. It would be fine if it were sooner though.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
I'm currently pregnant with #2 and we'll have one of each. Most people assume we're done, but we're keeping #3 open depending on how things go with DD. #3 might just be a NTNP kinda thing vs actively TTC, but we'll see!

I am getting my IUD out in a month, so will start TTC right away. Just depends on where my cycle is at.
grapefruit / 4355 posts
We want a 2-2.5 year gap and DD is almost 6 months now. So we'll probably start trying in ~9-10 months.

I'm not sure, we'd like to have our kids close together in age, and we've been NTNP because I'm still breastfeeding lo1, but its complicated because finances aren't the best right now and I'm thinking about going back to work so there is the whole FMLA thing and our health insurance now sucks so it would be costly to have another but we don't wait to wait too long either because we dealt with infertility and it took a long time to TTC lo1. Ugh, adult problems.

@sandy: I am so excited for you and hope everything goes well!
