IDK if it's because I've run out of my Norco prescription today, but I've been in terrible pain from my boobs, to my stomach, to even down there. Anyhow, my stomach pains are like the very strong "after pains" I had the first several days after birth. Major cramping kind of pains. Not sure if it's from lack of pain meds OR if it's from using my Belly Bandit (belly binder). I took it off, but it still hurts.
If you used a belly binder post partum, did it ever give you cramps or stomach aches?

@shopaholic: I didn't use one but I know it's normal to have cramping or contractions because the uterus needs to shrink down to it's normal size.

I didn't get pain from my abdominal binder.. It actually felt much better wearing it since it kept my muscles from "hanging".. Not sure about the pain you are experiencing.. But doesn't sound too worrisome

I wore the belly bandit and never had cramps or soreness outside of after pains while nursing. Hope you feel better soon

@HLK208: @rrachael: Yeah, I was thinking they probably are after pains again, but everything I've read says the after pains only last a few days. K has been feeding longer the past couple of days and I'm out of the painkillers so that's probably the reason for increased pain. It was just so bad today I finally had to take off the Belly Bandit because everything just hurt so much.

I was on 800 mg ibuprofen for WEEKS after P was born. Seriously, went through natural childbirth, but couldn't handle the after pains. She's still very young, and you are still recovering, so take it easy on yourself!
I have no advice about the belly bandit though.
