Due to low supply issues and a horrible pumping environment at work, I ditched BFing cold turkey and switched to formula a few days before DD was 7 weeks. Six weeks later, AF has no signs of coming back. Just curious when others who weaned early got AF.
Ps- 100% sure I am not pregnant.

Ok this makes me feel better. I weaned at 5 months. 6 weeks later, I still do not have AF.

@Ms. RV: I was worried, because I have PCOS, so I went to see my endocrinologist at 5 months. All my tests came back just fine, and I got my period the very next day! Haha.

My sister weaned around 6w and it was 3-4 weeks after that when she got her period.

I got AF five months postpartum, before I ever weaned her. Everyone is so different!

@KatieBklyn: I had a colposcopy today and I was so convinced it was going to come this morning since you can't be on your period when you have one. It would have been my luck!

I'm in the process of weaning at 4.5 months, just nursing about 3x/day now, and have been wondering about this myself! No sign of AF just yet. I've had some acne pop up in the last few days which makes me wonder if it's on the way.

@ldh112: I had acne real bad a week and a half ago and thought the same thing but no AF. I never symptom watched during TWW but I am definitely symptom watching now!
