were you also dilated before labor with #2? With A I was a 1 or 2 and 50% at my 36 week check, and then a 3 and 70% (pretty sure) at my 39 week check. I have my first internal check on Monday and although I know it really doesn't mean anything, I don't want to get discouraged if nothing is going on down there! So if you were dilated before labor with baby #1, were you also with #2? When did you go into labor with each?

Following because I'm curious! I was dilated to a 4 at my 40 week appointment, and DD came 2 days later. #2 should be interesting!

I was 3cm and 90% at 36 weeks with DS. Stayed the same until baby time at 39w3days

With dd I was 1cm and barely effaced and went into labor at 40w2days

#1 not dilated until labor began at 35 weeks
#2 preterm labor from 27 on landed me at a 4 for weeks
#3 didn't dilate until the last couple weeks, but not over a 2. -
DS, 2cm dilated at 37 weeks. Water broke at 39w3 days and was 7cm when I got to the hospital.
DD, 0cm at 36 weeks, water broke at 37w2d and was 3cm when I got to the hospital.

They say you never close up after having a baby anyways so I imagine you will be some dilated because it is stretchable especially since you had A not too long ago.

Yes! Got good news at my check on Tuesday, it was a huge relief, even though it doesn't necessarily mean anything
With #1 I was 1cm at 36 weeks, delivered at 39.1
With #2 I was "a solid 2 cm" at 36 weeks... waiting on when he will arrive though! I know most of it is mental, but dang that feels good to hear- hope you get good news too!!
