I didn't have gold for a while. I didn't miss it too much because the Gold posts died down. Now that I'm due again, I wanted to be able to post some pictures and have some private conversations without the whole world seeing it all.

I haven't renewed because I am in money saving mode. I have recently begun looking at just classic mode and it's good, I don't miss what I don't see!

I didn't renew because we were trying to save money. I don't review in classic. Sometimes I forget and try to click the gold posts.

Why my membership was up for renewal I didn't do so right away. I was considering just letting it lapse because there are so few gold threads (none on the front page at the moment). But a friend gifted me a renewal. We'll see what I decide to do a year from now.

@T.H.O.U.: Yeah, I think I posted one photo in a very specific thread and took it down very soon after, so that's not a thing for me.

I renewed the first time but not the second time. I just don't post a lot of gold stuff and I'm not worried about posting my picture on the internet. I do not post pics of H here anymore.

I had gold for two years... then I let it lapse for almost a year... and I recently renewed.
I honestly didn't really miss anything. The jump feature for gold is nice though. If anything I kind of missed that.
There was a thread about how much you like this board and are on the boards... and honestly I really like this little community and when I was reminded of that... I decided to renew to "support" it.

I didn't' renew but I feel like I should since I like the content and want to support it.

I didn't renew b/c the features weren't compelling enough for me to do so. I'm not a big picture sharer to start with, I don't start super private/sensitive topics, and even though there are some Gold threads that look interesting, I don't feel I'm missing out!
I do wish I could still hide boards, Gold or not, and I liked the "jump-to" feature....just not enough to pay for Gold.

I used to be gold and then I was away from the site for a while and now that I am pregnant again I am content to just stick to the regular posts especially since I am not working at the moment

Oh yeah I don't sell usually... I might in the future but gold posting was nice when I bought to give my email!
I just tried not to buy anything when I didn't have gold.

I didn't renew... I rarely post in gold so don't really sell so I was just being nosy. The money, honestly, it's not a huge amount that I can't spend, but I agree that gold posts have died down and I have tons of other posts to keep up with anyway!
I don't view in classic only.

I was gold, and either never used the jump feature, or it wasn't available then? I don't know what that is.
I didn't take advantage of all the features, but I may renew when we start TTC again. There aren't a lot of gold posts anymore anyways, so I only view in classic. -
@dc yoga bee: I don't know if that's the right term for it, but if you're Gold and pull up a thread you've already viewed, it will go to the last post you read on it. It was a really nice feature when I was active in our DDC that was very long.

i renewed once but not a second time. i don't miss the gold threads (i don't view in classic), but i'm thinking about renewing because i have a lot of baby gear that i'd like to sell, and i'd like to sell it on hellobee rather than craigslist or ebay.
I just tried not to buy anything when I didn't have gold.
