I think there should be a Seattle/ Eastside meetup. Preferably on the weekend.
Let's see if there are any interests in having more HB meetups.
Where do you want your local HB meetup to be?

I'd love to have one in my city, there are a few local bees and I hardly ever get to see them.

I'd like it to be in my county, haha!
If there's ever a meet up it'll probably be in NYC, which is kind of a trek!

There are quite a few bees in my area, but when I posted about a meetup crickets. Hoping someone else jump starts a meet up.

I am about to move to Atlanta, so I would love a meetup in that area since I know just about zero people there.

There are a few UK Bees, but we are spread pretty far apart. I loved our UK meet up - it was 3.5 years ago now! - but we've never managed to organise one since. Its harder for me to travel now, so I would love it if we could arrange something in the Midlands, but that would mean the Bees down South and in Wales would have quite a way to travel.

@Mrs. J: @MrsRcCar: I could probably do a weekend in Chicago. It's not a far drive from Louisville.
watermelon / 14467 posts
@MrsRcCar: Yeah, it would be a weekend trip for me too. It's 5 hours from here (probably 7 if you count stops for the kids lol) or if it's just me and I catch a good sale on Southwest, I could fly there relatively inexpensively.

@avivoca: @MrsRcCar: there are a bunch of us around here...just have never had a meet up! @MrsRcCar: you could bring KJPugs!
Maybe @twodogshouse: would trek up from downstate or @ash: from Iowa.

@Mrs. J: @avivoca: it would be great to meet up with other bees. Some of the Michigan bees wouldn't be too far out either.

Somewhere close to San Francisco! I would go to SF, somewhere in Berkeley, or down on peninsula/South Bay!

Central PA here, so Baltimore or Philly would work. DC is about 3 hours away, so that would be a weekend trip. Same with Pittsburgh. Or NYC, for that matter!

@Mrs. J: I love Chicago! Actually, we're tentatively planning a Chicago trip For May!
I'd love one in Minneapolis haha, but there's only like 2-3 local bees.
I go to New York every few years and would try for one there too.

@Mrs. J: Heck yes I would! I would love to meet up with some Midwest bees!

@MrsRcCar: @twodoghouse: @Mrs. Pen: @avivoca: @mrsjyw: @ash: Midwest mama meet up? Heck yes!

Pittsburgh or Cleveland would be ideal for me. I could maybe do DC or Philly. Also could do Central PA if there are more folks around @littlebug. I'm pretty sure there are very few PA bees though

@youboots: I'd be down for a meet up in Portland! I know there's a few other bees up here too.

@snowjewelz: I'd like one in our country too!
I'm in AB and I know there are at least a few others here too.

@Junebugsmama I'm moving to the east bay next month and would love to connect with some other mamas there. In DC until then....

I'm in central MA so somewhere in MA, central or closer to Boston would be nice.

@bluestriped bee: the only one I ever did was in Seattle last summer! I loved meeting some amazing Bees in real life!
@youboots: I wish I had met you when we were in Portland last year!
I only know of a few Bees in continental Europe but none are in the same country as I am.

@lamariniere: Yeah, I can't believe I missed you in Seattle!

@catgirl I came on here to suggest Boston. We used to live just outside the city but moved to southern NH two months ago, so Boston (or somewhere around there) is still pretty convenient.

@ottilie: @catgirl: yes! Boston area!!
I work in Nashua but live in MA.

@littlebug @ms rv another PA bee here, although not central PA. Philly would be fine, except that I really hate cities.

DC or Baltimore. There are a ton of bloggers from DC - we keep trying to make something happen and it just doesn't come together. It's like we're busy moms or something.

Boston for me! Would love one in the city, or at least accessible via T.
There was one a few years back but I think it was outside the city (I don't really drive and I remember it felt too far away for me to get to easily).
