My little girl always turn in her sleep. I'd put her down on her back and she'd end up on her belly. She always roll back even after I flip her. I'd actually suggest buying a breathable bumper. They are about $30 and you won't have this problem again!

i know bumpers are a controversial topic, but this is exactly why I put bumpers in her crib. My LO is a notoriously wild sleeper. And I trust that she has enough head/body control to move her head if she needs to, so after outweight the pros and cons ... I put on bumpers on her crib.

My LO kept getting his legs stuck once he learned to roll as well. He would wake up crying, so I finally broke down and bought breathable bumpers.

when LO was in the phase of getting a limb stuck and not being able to get it out, once in a blue moon i would go in a move it. but usually i would just sit there and stress about it (i really didn't like risking waking him up on my own because it was such a struggle for him to fall asleep in the first place). i considered getting breathable bumpers, but i hemmed and hawed so long that it became moot when LO became capable of "unsticking" himself.
