Did it last?
T has been STTN for a week now (he's 9 weeks). I have to get up and pop the paci in his mouth around 4 am but I don't count that as a wake up. He's not fully awake and it takes about 2 minutes. He's breastfed.
I'm so pleased! I have a feeling though it won't last since he started so early.

Nope! It lasted right until I went back to work 8 wks and he didn't sttn until I weaned around 12m.

Nope. They both started STTN about 7-8 weeks and stopped around 4-5 months. Both were formula fed, so there goes that theory haha

Yes...she was sleeping 8-10 hours by 4 weeks old. Everyone told me it wouldn't last, and I kept dreading each possible sleep regression age.
But she has continued to be a rock star sleeper and today at 7 months sleeps 7pm-8am.
There was a week around 6 months where she was having a MOTN wakeup but it was while she was dropping her third nap and quickly went back to "normal".
Naps on the other hand....

It lasted but never really improved! She slept 7:30-5 (nurse) and then back down until 8ish from about 7 weeks. Around 6 months she was waking at 5am but not going back down. At 18 months she still wakes at 545-6:15.

J started STTN at about 8 weeks or so, and it lasted! We had a week or so of rough nights a couple times, once at the 4 month sleep regression, and once when we were beginning solids and figuring out how to feed him enough on a "schedule" to help him be completely full.
He sleeps from about 9-6, maybe with one time of us having to put the paci in his mouth, but that's rare.

Mine stuck! He started STTN at 8 weeks. He had a 4 mo regression for a few weeks, but got back on track and returned to STTN. He's now 21 mo and a great sleeper.

Lasted from 10 weeks to 6 months, until we went on mega vacation month and screwed her sleep up.

Nope. She slept through the night at 2 months and it lasted until 5 months and has basically been a crap shoot ever since (she just turned a year). It sucks!!!!!!

My first, yes, it lasted. My second..... no. But it's not awful, she'll STTN half of the time, and the other half is just one wake up.

Xander started STTN at 10/11 weeks and he's been a great sleeper ever since!

undecided at the moment, because we're having a rocky 2 weeks. she STTN almost immediately from birth until she hit the 4 month regression. we're not out of that phase yet.
I should say, she still always STTN according to the literal definition of 5 hours (i think that's right). but i dont consider STTN to be 5 hours because she used to sleep 11.5! she's down from sleeping 11.5 straight to sleeping 7-8 most nights. and occasionally she's woken up after 5ish hours during this stretch as well.

It lasted for us. LO was EBF and we still nurse and she STTN even though a lot of people say if you breastfeed they won't. Hopefully it lasts for you. Sleep is a wonderful thing!

My LO started STTN around 2 and a half months and this stuck until about 7 months. For the past three months, she's woken up at least once during the night a majority of nights. For a while it was hard to get her back to sleep in the middle of the night, but it's getting easier again now (she's 10 months).

Stuck for awhile. We had thy same schedule around 4 months. Around 6 months, 8 months, and 15 months have been the roughest patches for us aside from newborn.
Eta and I don't really think its relevant but my daughter was formula fed.

Sadly no. She started sleeping 9pm-7am at 6 weeks old. And then the 4 month sleep regression hit.... and we never recovered.

lo sttn around 5 weeks, but then the 4 month sleep regression hit and it was bad. (As in, more wake ups during the regression then her early newborn days - every 30-60 minutes she would wake up) Thankfully that resolved around 6 months. She's 19 months now and has been a great sleeper since.

LO started sttn at 8 weeks and has been a great sleeper since (17 months now). she didnt have any regressions and has only woken up in the motn a handful of times when she was sick or diaper rash and pooped. other than that she's been great. hope the next one is like this too!!

Nope. LO sttn at 4 weeks but the 4 month sleep regression fixed that. He is 7 months old and still wakes up 1-2 times a night.

He started sleeping 6-7 hrs around 6-8 wks and would occasionally sleep 10 from 3 months on but not consistently 10 until 8-9 months

DD slept through the night from 9 weeks till 20 and then the 4 month sleep regression hit. But it was nice while it lasted. Now we do 2 MOTN wake ups on average at 6.5 mo.. So try not to think about it too much an just enjoy it while it lasts. I definitely miss those 10 hour stretches!

Yup! DD1 started sleeping through the night, 12 hours straight, around 2.5 months and never looked back. She never went through any sleep regressions and still sleeps 12-13 hours overnight now at 22 months.
DD2 has been sleeping 10-11 hours overnight since about 7 weeks and is still going strong. With our recent move, her sleep is a bit off and she's now going to bed around 5:30 pm and waking at 4:30 for a feed. Not ideal but she does go back to sleep until 8:00 after that so I can't complain!

Nope. STTN without a peep from 5 to 10 weeks, then night wakeups every 2-4 hours and never STTN again. She's 6 months now.

Stuck for LO 1. LO 2 had a brief regression at 10.5 months but that was short and she is STTN again.

Mine started STTN early on and have been good sleepers overall. Sleep can get screwy when they're sick, teething, after vaccinations, travel, etc etc.

Yep! She was sleeping 8+ hours by 8 weeks. She's 18 months now and we've never had a regression.

Nope. I wish! She STTN at 8 weeks & kept it up about 75% of the time until we transitioned to the crib at about 12 weeks. Then it was 1-2 wake-ups for another month until we hit the 4 month regression & you don't want to hear about that!

I feel like this thread supports the theory that some babies are just good sleepers and some aren't! A friend told me her ped said usually you have a good napper or good night sleeper. The unlucky have all bad sleep and the very lucky have all good

My LO was STTN from about 2-4m and then months 4-6 were a bit rough. Then at 7m she started STTN again, but only for a couple weeks. She's 8m now and typically sleeps 7:30-5, quick feed, then sleeps til 7:30. I can't really complain about a 5 minute wakeup after she's been asleep for about 10 hours.

Yes. We went through a slight regression at 3-4 months where she developed 1 night feeding again, but no big deal. We weaned for the night feeding with little trouble and she started sleeping even longer straight through than she had been before.

Yep. Had a week or so of regressiom at 4 mths. Travel and teething messed it up a bit during his first yr. But now at 17 mths, he only wakes when he has a really bad cold
