we had plans today, but Lo is running a temp of (100.4 under arm) is sneezing, runny nose and soooo CRANKY! so we decided to stay home.
What temp do you consider high enough to cancel plans and stay home?

Any unexplained fever. For example, if he has been actively teething and has a low fever (100 or less) we wouldn't blink an eye. If he had other symptoms, we stay home. Or if we know something is going around.
One friend had a daughter with a high fever with lots of energy and thought it appropriate to bring her to an activity. She had hand-foot-and mouth. Another friends daughter was teething had no other symptoms than a fever and had walking pneumonia.
We tend to error on cautious. Of course, I don't really want to go out with a cranky pants anyway.
