Yes, my daughter has had a runny nose but no fever and she has definitely gone to day care all week. It's not like the teachers won't notice that she has a runny nose so there is nothing to hide. During the winter, just about every kid in there has a runny nose, especially since they go outside twice a day and their noses run. Stuff that that isn't a big deal to me but if she was really sick (like with a fever) then I would not try to pull a fast one on them. They would notice pretty quickly and send her home anyway. And I'd rather her be home and properly recoup.

It depends. If it is something like an allergy related runny nose then of course my son will still go to daycare. If he is running a low grade fever when teething, then he still goes to daycare. If he is actually sick, then no, he stays home.
