at night, what do you do?
last night she was wild and just couldn't settle..called me several times, so I finally got her up and let her play for a little longer and started over. she passed out within 3 minutes of hitting her pillow.
she is laying down tonight but restless again. she has high sleep needs to I hate to push back her bedtime when some nights she passes out at the same time.
plus..a little guilt but I really need some me time!

I usually just leave her but she has books/toys in her bed and eventually she passes out.

usually she just rolls around in her bed even if she's not tired, but on occasion she's truly inconsolable, I get her up, play or watch a show and cuddle for 30 minutes and then do a quick song and put her back in bed.

I lie with her until she falls asleep. Not the best solution, but on the plus side she tells me all sorts of things when we're laid in bed together, I love it.

Well mine doesn't nap so no bed time is too early. But gets might be since she naps?

@sorrycharlie: I need the answer to this so badly. She spends a good 40 minutes to an hour just talking and jumping in her crib. But she's so tired!

@winniebee: true she took a mega nap today. she hasn't really been napping though, she'll randomly pass out on the couch but gosh she is KILLING me. the naps were affecting bedtime horribly (even worse than now!) and I was like forget it, not worth the hour break in the middle of the day. so depressing.

She takes 30-60 mins every night to fall asleep. I tell her 3-4 times over the monitor and tell her it is nite nite time.

@sorrycharlie: aha! Yeah when t naps he goes to bed later (unless he is sick or something) I bet that's the problem.
