Aw man, I'm sorry. My husband has his vices but I have always been very thankful that video games isn't one of them! In our house it's more of a battle to get him to turn of the damn UFC fights because they make me sick to my stomach.

Ugh I am right there with you. *I* bought him the new Xbox for Christmas, and told my parents to get him the stupid Call of Duty game-- the shooting noises are sooooooooooooo annoying. And he never realized how loud it is. He's much more into Halo these days, playing online so he's playing with real people and you get to hear pre-pubescent boys with headsets talking smack. It's so not annoying at all, really...
I try not to complain because he works long hours, and is studying a lot for a really big exam in June, but at the same time... it's so annoying. And, we only have one TV, so it's not like I can just go somewhere else and watch my shows.

So, I feel your pain.

Ugh, I am SO glad DH is not into video games or fantasy leagues or anything!

Haha I went to bed last night at around 11. No idea when DH came to bed, too busy playing NBA2K13 (or whatever it's called) on his PS3!

I feel your pain! DH doesn't play them much now, but when we first started dating... OMG! When plays Madden (or anything really) it's game. over. I usually just leave the house to run errands because he yells at the TV and gets super into it and is SO loud

Joining the club as well. I've lost him to the COD and basketball this weekend. He justifys it by saying he's getting his video game time in now b/c when the baby comes, that is going out the window.

DH plays it on the Wii. The only saving grace is the game pad, so if I've had enough or want to watch TV, he just puts it on the game pad.

Urg- my husband plays Modern Warfare and COD- i cant really tell them apart. He has headphones- but he is so loud "talking" aka shouting at the teenagers who are playing, it drives me crazy. And I feel like the only time he evers plays is if I fall asleep on the couch in our living room- he turns it on and I wake up to the sounds of him swearing at people and shots being fired.... SO ANNOYING! Hoping he cuts down on playing when LO gets here.

Urgh! My husband would play all day if he could. I go to bed much earlier than him so he plays when I'm asleep !

Ugh it is awful. DH goes through phases of playing and then not playing at all for months. Right now we are in a Halo phase where he meets his friends online to play all.the.time. Thus I am hanging out in the kitchen tonight. Thank goodness we do not have an open floor plan house!
