@babycanuck: you are amazing! Being your own advocate and going there educated and with guns blazing! I hope that you get some definitive answers this time. I also hope that you find put what your dealing with is easily fixable and gets you KU. I'm really impressed with your making this push. It takes real courage and I believe that it can really make a difference in outcomes. I hope so.

    Update 2:

I had my second HSG today - completely different from my first. My first one in March was great - I didn't feel anything, the tech walked me through it, took her time with the liquid so it wouldn't hurt.

This time - it was really painful. She rushed, the catheter fell out, had to do it again, and so much cramping. Either way it's over with. My tubes are clear and she's going to analyse the dip in my uterus to see if it's big enough to cause issues. They also did an ultrasound on my kidneys - the doctor said it's normal for her clinic to do it.

With this - I'm so scared now to do the biopsy in two weeks for the pain, and second guessing my choices on even having kids if I can barely handle this kind of pain! I can't imagine giving birth!

@babycanuck: Gosh, I'm sorry that was such an ordeal! Don't doubt yourself! There are lots of ways to deal with pain...and as much as I hate to say it, maybe your tech was inexperienced? FX that you get some satisfying answers soon!

@babycanuck: sorry I'm only seeing this now! Sorry that your HSG was so unpleasant
It does sound like this new doc is taking a very active approach which makes me so happy for you! And I'm glad to see that they are doing the karyotyping since I wasn't sure that they would.
Keep us posted on any new results that come in!

@babycanuck: I'm so sorry the HSG was uncomfortable! That definitely stinks! I'm still hoping you get a good and easily fixable answer from this RE. All that testing makes it sound promising!

    Update 2:
Biopsy - CHECK. This was wayyyy better than the HSG, I couldn't believe it.

DH sperm chromatin assay test - CHECK

    DH blood word - CHECK

Next week I start cycle monitoring and will be able to schedule my follow-up for results. This has been the longest two weeks of MY LIFE and I have to wait another two until results. !!!
