He went to go pick them up from daycare and will feed them dinner because I'm trying to wean Olive. As soon as she sees me, she throws a tantrum because she wants to nurse! And then if she nurses, she's not hungry for dinner. So I'm hiding downstairs until Olive eats and then I'll go back upstairs.
She doesn't nurse that much during the week since she's in daycare, but weekends are tough because she is constantly begging for it!
Did anyone else have as hard a time with weaning?

I'm not trying to wean (although she's nursing like crazy this week and I'm almost tempted) but I've totally hid from my children before!

Hiding inside the house is hard! You should go for a walk! Weaning wasn't hard for me (except for the before bed session)...I think LO loved solids so much that she only liked to comfort nurse.

You're lucky your hubby is around to help out with that! I'm a SAHM and my SO works long hours... Everything I've read about weaning at this point usually involves having dad or daycare take over... This is why I have given up on weaning until she self-weans. I figure 2 years and some change of bf'ing is a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of it all..
It's much easier when we don't stay at home though, that's for sure.
