The month you got your BFP, did you have an implantation dip and/or implantation bleeding? Just not sure how common these are. Thanks!

Every chart I had until my BFP was tri-phasic with an implantation dip. My BFP chart was hideous, no dip, no secondary rise....just flat until BFP.

I had a dip in temp at 9 dpo and was convinced I was out that month. I even stopped taking my temp, until the morning I tested (13dpo) and it was the highest it's ever been, so I decided to test.

@oliviaoblivia: i had a similar experience!! All of my charts were triphasic. Even my RE would say - hey this is a great looking chart! and all BFNs!

@oliviaoblivia: I'm only 3dpo, but that's good to hear--puts a lot less pressure on me to have the "perfect" chart!

My chart was triphasic, but there wasn't really an implantation dip, and definitely no bleeding.

My chart was clearly triphasic, but then dropped, which I didn't realize was implantation drop at the time but now realize that it was. I also had implantation bleeding but it didn't "show" until my 6th week. I had a lot though... 6 full days of it. Pregnancy is crazy stuff.

I had a huge dip at 5DPO. Totally thought I was out.

I wasn't charting so I'm not sure about my temp, but I did have implantation bleeding.

I didn't have a dip or bleeding at all, but I did have distinct light cramps for about a day-- like really mild menstrual cramps but lower than usual. I have to assume it was implantation, since it was about a week after O and I got my BFP 5 days later.

I never charted. The first time I got pregnant there was implantation bleeding (ended in m/c). When I got pregnant the second time (which resulted in my son!) I didn't have any bleeding, but did have cramping on 9/10DPO.

My LP was around 15 days, so when I was bleeding at 7dpo, I knew something was up. I got my BFP at 9dpo. No dip at all in my chart.

@MrsCB: @JoJoGirl: How much blood are we talking? Like wipe once and then no more? Or did it last all day?

@lawbee11: Mm neither... I sort of made a mess of my underwear in the morning because I wasn't expecting it, but it was just brown spotting "stuff", not full flow. That happened both mornings of 7dpo and 8dpo and not again during the day.

It was more like slightly brown CM. Lasted less than a day. But then mine turned into spotting off and on for almost a week and then a CP.

@JoJoGirl: Haha, I'm glad yours was the same, I was only mostly sure that's what it was because I had all the other spotting. But I figured since it was on 11 DPO that's likely what it was.

I didnt chart but I did feel implantation on dpo 9/10. No bleeding occurred but they felt like no other cramps Ive had before. So I knew!

I had a small dip, if I remember correctly. Then just one small brown dot/spot one morning. That was all. But I remember thinking I hope it is implantation spotting and not pre-period spotting starting early. I was surprised it was just one spot.

I couldn't tell from your response(s) but did you experience either implantation bleeding or a temperature dip?

@LindsayInNYC: Here is my BFP chart (pretty much the ugliest chart ever, right?). I had a dip at 5dpo but that seems super early to be an implantation dip (though I did get a BFP at 8dpo). I had some brown spotting at 11dpo and that may have been implantation bleeding that was old (since it was brown?). It lasted a couple of days and I really only noticed it when I wiped. Sorry if that's not super helpful!

This happened late this morning at 7DPO - 10am or so? I haven't noticed anything since though. Then again, I peed at 1pm and that's been it =/ -
