My "delicate flower" of a girl destroys every pair of shoes she owns. The tips get completely scuffed the first day she wears them. I'm talking deep scuffs that completely blister and lift the surface of the material 
What, other than steel-toed boots, can I get for her that will last for more than a day??

My son wears See Kai Run brand shoes, and they seem to hold up really well, plus they are adorable. He plays rough, but some pairs still look new.

My Stride Rite SRT boots for LO really last. We walk at least 2 miles a day and play soccer, garden, etc.

Following! B's last two pairs of shoes lasted three weeks, and two days. I guess they weren't a good pick, but wow... never seen anyone wear out shoes that fast!

Our stride rites with the rubber toe have held up better than our SKR smaller shoes but i think any show with the rubber over the toe will do the trick.

We have some of the pedipeds in the style @anagram: linked to above and they are awesome. Also in past years rubber cap toed Mary janes from children's place. The same shoes from target don't last.

I really like converse! I think they're so cute and they hold up really well. I've gotten Sadie a pair in every size since she's started walking. As soon as they get dirty you can just throw them in the washing machine!

Echo StrideRite. We have been using them for years and all our shoes always last forever. The quality is just great. However, this is for boys shoes so I'm not sure if the girls will hold up as well because the shoes we get are meant to look rugged so they're built in with lots of rubber.

My LO's shoes suffer the same fate. Her beautiful leather SKR got scuffed up instantly. We've have better luck with Stride Rites that have rubber toes.

Honestly, crocs and the saltwater sandals and converse chicks. That's about it. Cheap Target shoes take a beating!

Keens! My son wore his nearly every day last summer and they really stood up to the wear, I was even able to resell them since they were in such great shape! I bought him a new pair for this summer.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!! I guess I am a tough customer because I'm so picky about the look of shoes (I'm not a fan of keens or most stride rite styles) but there are some excellent suggestions here!!
@babynumber1: I WISH she were destroying cheap target shoes...!! She's destroyed a pair of See Kai Runs, Saucony sneakers, Puma sneakers, and New Balance sneakers! and two pairs of Carter's mary janes my mom got for her.
@Anagram: I think the rubber toe is the way to go! Those two suggestions are adorable but I'm still afraid for the non rubber parts of the uppers. I think I need to see them in person to feel what the material looks like.
@rachiecakes: Wagon Sr. would DIE. Haha. Docs!!! We don't even have a pair for our son, so getting a hot pink pair for our daughter would just be the shiznits.

@mrs. wagon: I have these exact shoes in Black and Red patent leather (I bought during Black Friday and LO wore them from December-now) and they literally do not have a scuff on them, because of that rubber toe. I got a pair of SKR mary janes at the same time and I actually just threw them away because they aren't wearable, even though we have another girl on the way. The rubber toed Stride Rites look almost brand new, it's crazy.
Sadly, the rubber toes are the younger kid shoes, so they only go to a size 6, which my LO is wearing now (she has big feet for her age). So I have no idea what she will wear next. =(

I bought a pair of used Stride Rite sneakers from the HB classifieds, and D wore them for another 5-6 months. They held up perfectly, and I'm hanging on to them for Baby #2!

Keens. If I tried to make my daughter keep shoes nice, I'd be wasting my time and hers. Also, I'd be holding her back from the fun and active life she wants to have, and that just isn't cool.
