So I've been making my own purees in prepartion of M starting solids. My plan all along was to purchase organic pouches for when we're out about.
Until now -thanks to HB ads!- enter Infantino Fresh Squeeze Station!!! You can make your own purees and squeeze them into pouches!! Brilliant! I wish I knew if the pouches were able to be reused though.

I've never given her pouch food, but I seriously considered it today while we were at target. We do BLW so I don't know if she'd understand whats in a pouch.

@prettylizy: with BLW wouldn't it be easier to just keep some food in ziploc bags? Or is she still so young it'll be too messy?
@chopsuey119: hm. You bring up a good point though. With store pouches they can be at room temp right? Homemade ones probably won't last at room temp for long. Hmmm

@regberadaisy: I do pack some snacks for her to gnaw on, but she's only at 2 meals a day right now (breakfast and dinner) and usually that is done at home. And yes, she is SUPER messy and really only likes eating messy foods (Avocado, tomatoes, peaches....).
Also, depending on the food, I'm sure you could keep them in your diaper bag for a few hours in a cooler bag. I keep LO's juice in a bottle cooler bag along with some food if we need it.

Omg, I want one! I haven't bought any baby food gadgets at all but I think I want one of these! It's inexpensive too. I wish the pouches were reusable though.
@scg00387: Babysteals.com has the sili squeeze from time-to-time so look out for it. I just bought two of them last week. Haven't used it yet though.

Beaba also makes a reusable silicone feeder thing...I've almost purchased it like 5 times, but something is holding me back.
My son loves the pouches, I also love being able to keep the ready made ones in the stroller in case he gets an urge.

I am really seriously considering buying this squeeze station I find that the silicone reusable pouches dont deflate as they get empty so its hard to get everything out

That looks really cool. I watched the video, and it doesn't seem like they cooked any of the food first. Wouldn't you need to cook veggies, not just mush them up?

@MrsCB: It depends on the age of the child if they are old enough to handle raw veggies then you wouldnt need to cook them first.

Anyone bought this yet? I was just looking at it. I can't find the reusable squeeze pouch yet but that seems more useful to me than the disposable ones.
