I wouldn't trust internet strangers, but seems to have worked for them. I said on the other breast milk donation thread-- unless I had a preemie, I wouldn't take the breast milk for my healthy baby because there are sick babies who need it more. (I plan to EBF, but this is if it just didn't work out for me for some reason).

my friend donated a few oz of her BM every week to my LO for a while at the beginning -- my supply was pretty low and we were already supplementing with some formula too :). i was grateful for her offer and the extra bit of BM nutrition he got from it!
