We have this bank of windows--not sure if they are considered bay windows?--but there are 5 of them, they are big and not one of the standard curtain lengths. I *really* want blackout/thermal curtains but all the ones I can find online are super, super ugly.

So maybe custom drapes/curtains? Although that just sounds like a ton of money. Also, I'm stuck on what kind of curtain rod I should go for---or would it be better to do the curtain wire instead? You can see there's not a lot of space between the windows, so we might need custom rods as well, and curtain wire would definitely be cheaper. But would it LOOK cheap?

AUGH.
