i have IC. ive had it for about 4-5 years now. i really thought it would be unbearable during pregancy but surprisngly it hasnt. i thinking drinking tons of water has helped actually and some days i feel better then before when i wasnt pregnant. alothough there was about a week in the seconnd trimester (maybe arond 16=17 weeks) where it was unbearable, i coulndt sleep going pee every 20 minutes, extreme pressure. but i really think the extra water is why i am feeling so good with it duing pregancy

@stargal: What are you doing for the delivery? I know some people just go for the C-section, which I don't want. My OB recommended an early epidural. Do you think it would really make a difference though?

i havent discussed it with my doctors, for me my issue is more of just having to pee all the time and pressure, havent really thought of hw much it iwll affect delievery....hoping that it wont
with an early epidural, it might help numb it down there so you cuouldnt feel anything early on.... how do you respond to catherters? personally after i get the catherers out it feels like i am peeing razor blades, it hurts so bad (sorry if tahts tmi!)
