Finally got it to download. It's very bright! And there are new ringtones. Has anyone noticed that the home screen has a 3D effect with your wallpaper? When you tilt it up and down the picture shifts a little so that the apps appear to be floating. It was really messing with my head.

I plan on getting the 5s on Friday, so most likely won't update my 4s! -

I'm looking forward to getting it! My phone or ipad now won't even show the update as available. I will probably wait a couple of days. I'm dying to get a new iPhone...probably the 5C. My 4 is seriously outdated now. I have to wait til January

I downloaded it earlier and while I got a few error messages, once it worked it only took 10 minutes to download. So far I like it. Like everything else it will take some getting used to but I love the new design!

I just got it too. It's nice but going to take some adjustment.
If you get it downloaded but it won't install try restarting your phone. for some reason restarting the phone let DH and I both install right away after that.

So it only took 20 minutes but some of my apps won't work even though I've updated them. Boo.

It took ALL NIGHT, but mine is finally updated. I really like it so far, but I need to dig around a little bit.

@tlcbaby: At one point it was telling me 42 hours. I don't have time for that crap! Hopefully it's done before I leave for work in an hour.

@evansjamie: Well mine said 13 hours, but it finished overnight which was closer to 6 hours so hopefully yours will be ready.

I just upgraded and it was super fast.
Now I want to know how to do close out apps? Before you double clicked the main button and they showed up on the bottom, and you could close them out that way. It won't work now...

I have the option to download but I don't have enough storage, even with only a couple pictures and 2 pages of apps. I'm not going to delete everything to update bc then I have nothing!

Got it on my iPad! I love it! I don't think I'll be able to clear up enough space for my phone. Ugh.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't take up 2.9 GB of space...it just needs that much to download? I've had to delete stuff off my phone for updates before and I was able to put it back on. This is the biggest update so far though so I don't know.

I updated last night. My one complaint is that I think it looks a lot like a droid now. I'm sure I'll get used to it!
One feature that I discovered this morning that I like is that now when you snooze the alarm, it shows a countdown of time remaining. I'm a snooze addict, but I always worry "Did I accidentally turn the alarm completely off?!"

Did any one else bluetooth default to on? Mine has been on overnight and I have no battery left. At least I know whay the battery was drained!

@T.H.O.U.: I just noticed that mine was on when you mentioned it. No wonder my battery drained so fast this morning (started out at 100%, down to 91% and haven't been using it).
I'm not sure how I like the new interface. My husband and I both agree it looks girly. Which is fine by me. The typeface is what really drives that home, but it might hard to read because my background is really busy.

@Smurfette: @T.H.O.U.: I can't figure out how to close out the apps! I used to double click the home button, then hold down on the app so they started shaking and then X them out. I tried sliding them up like you guys said but it just brought me to the app. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong....

@kjpugs: You swipe up on the open window, not the app icon. Took me forever to figure it out...

I havent upgraded yet but I have to do a webinar later on it (since I work, indirectly, for Apple).

@kjpugs: You have to slide the screen shot up, not the app icon, for it to work.

I am loving the little pull up menu from the bottom that has the FLASHLIGHT, do not disturb, and the portrait view lock!!!!! Awesome! I wish the DND had "except for -______" that you could set though.
