Haven't update yet... DH got his iPad updating and it said it would take 3 hours... Not sure when I'll have 3 hours today to not have my phone!

@Emsmems: I just started the update on my 4S and it says the download time is 20 minutes. I don't know if that's just download and not install/update whatever...I'll let you know!

I haven't yet...I might do it when I have time at home tonight, and I definitely won't be updating my phone and iPad at the same time.

Ahh I have to clean off 3 GB free space of my phone before I can upgrade. I may just wait for the 5S Friday.
The iPad is saying 18 minutes now. Hopefully things are clearing up.

I've had major phone issues today (work and personal iphones- due to a tower being down) and when talking to apple tech support (before we figured out the tower issue and sending me to ATT) they asked if I had downloaded ios7, I said no, and that I wasn't allowed to yet on my company phone, and he said good and to give it a few days anyway. No idea why! But I guess I'll wait. Plus if I need free space on this stupid phone it'll be a while. A whole 1/3 of my phone's storage is "other" and I have no idea what it is or how to get rid of it. VERY READY for my upgrade in 6 months.

DH has had it for a couple of months (he works at Apple) and I love it! I can't wait to get it on mine

I have to wait until I get home but the new features look awesome! I have to find a way to make 2.9 GB of space on my 8 GB phone. I don't know how that's gonna work.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: !!! I laughed out loud when I saw 6 hours! My blue bar is between the 'c' and the '.' on 'Apple Inc.' so I'm making progress! People on FB keep posting their new screen pics, and I'm getting jealous

Mine took 2.5 hours to download, and then now it won't install... I keep getting an error message saying 'software update unavailable'. Ugggh first world problems!

DH is trying to download it, and right now it's telling him 16 hours!! I had to get my iPhone replaced this morning and I can't even activate it b/c I was told most of the servers are down due to the new update, and Apple is unsure when the servers would be back up. Irritating!

I went to do it and it says to be connected to wi fi. Sio I plugged into itunes on my laptop and it said I have to update itunes first. BUT before that when I started up my laptop it said it needed to restart to update my laptop. Ugh. Better be worth it!

Do you have to have an iphone 5 to get it? My phone doesn't even say there is an update available. I usually like to wait a few days anyway, in case it's buggy.

Mine updated pretty quickly, maybe less than an hour?

And the keyboard is nice.
I also like that when you hit home twice you slide up on apps off the screen to close them (: fancy.

I got it to install pretty easily this afternoon. It's pretty, but I'm not loving it. There's a lot of lags with the animations that I'm not appreciating.
