I voted for the mini... I have an ipad (not the air) and a mini and I use the mini more... but mostly because it's lighter which I would guess the air is just as light but I also like that the mini can easily fit in to my bag to pull it out for use.

Mini - I've had regular sized ipads and replaced them with the mini. The weight doesn't bother me at all but it would be perfect if it had a retina display!

Well... it's so hard to vote when you have one and not the other. I have the iPad air that I got for school, and I really love it. So I would vote that one? But I've never used an iPad mini!
