@cascademom: @2PeasinaPod: how does it prevent the screen from shattering? Is it a hard or silicone case? I can't tell from the pictures.
@looch: Is the screen protector a stick on one or integral to the case?

@locavore_mama: It has a raised plastic case that protects the phone and screen. Then, it's wrapped in a rubber case. There's also a light screen protector as well. It's basically three layers protecting it.

@locavore_mama: It's a two part case, the screen protector is part of the case, it's not stick on.
The first part is plastic, and that clips together around the phone. Then you put the skin around it.

@locavore_mama: Exactly what everyone else says! There are also ones that are soft silicone case that has raised sides to help prevent direct impact to the screen and a hard plastic that clips around it if you're not as into the super bulky.

Otterboxes are great! They're just kind of bulky. I opted for a Spigen with a protective screen. It's much slimmer and fits in my pocket easier.

I bought it accidentally for my 5S but got frustrated when I couldn't' use the finger print scanner.

I have a Spigen like @blackbird too b/c I think otterboxes are too bulky. So far so good.

I got a Lifeproof case for our vacay. It's waterproof too!!
