Bees who have dropped their precious phones in water & revived them in a bag of rice, how long did you leave them in there?
DH dropped him phone in the tub this morning when trying to get him & P out (totally didn't listen to me but whatevs). Anyhoo the music stopped playing immediately but the phone was still on... he was able to get it turned off & it's not sitting in a tupperware of rice (we of course just ran out of bags).
The page I read said 36 hrs.... is that right?
I think it depends where the water damage is...I only dropped a bit of water on the phone but it got into the back and killed the motherboard. Good luck! I hope it works for you!
It worked perfectly fine. I hope the luck extends to your DH's phone, too!
I was in a cloud after our bathroom remodeling and that's when it happened) but I did one huge thing wrong: I turned the phone on to check if it was OK. Huge mistake. But I did leave it in rice for almost a week. It never revived completely because it would be able to stay on for maybe 3 minutes, and then dies. It was good enough for me to retrieve all the data and backed it up before we had to take it back to the shop and let it RIP for good.
